Hey Guys, Can you believe that we are 1/4 of the way through the year already! I have a mixture of products this month. Some oldies that I have fallen back in love with and some new products that I have found. So let's jump straight in and see what I have been loving and items I have not. Product Of The Month. Morphe Continuous Setting Spray £15 available from the Morphe Website. This was an easy win for the month. Since purchasing this I have used it every time I have done my make up. Morphe have created an aerosol setting mist which makes this setting spray so amazing.. This comes in a bottle that reminds me of hairspray. It comes out in a fine spray which doesn't make you wet and melts your make up into the skin and lasts for hours upon hours. I love that it comes out evenly and smells amazing. This is definitely my number 1 setting spray and the one I reach for. I highly recommend picking this up if you need a new setting spray. 2. Benefit Gimme Brow. Benefit's Gimme Brow is available from Benefit's Website, Debenhams, John Lewis & many more. This retails for £20.50 (however over Easter weekend it's down to £18.50) This product is so easy to use and gives such amazing results. I love how you can build your coverage up and how the applicator creates natural looking eyebrows. It gives you natural and full looking eyebrows which you can build up. It comes in 3 different shades, 1 which is light, 3 which is medium and 5 which is dark. For a full review click here. 3. Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter This stunning highlighter is available as both in mini and full size options. The full size retails for £32 for 8g and the mini retails for £15 for 2.5g. It is available from Cult Beauty, Space NK & QVC (who stock some of Becca's products) IT's available in lots of different shades but I opted for Moonstone, which is a pale gold. I went for a mini as I needed more options for when I travel. This highlighter is applies beautifully and lasts all day without looking cakey. You can build it up to be a really blinding highlight or use it as a much more subtle glow. 4. So? Vanilla Body Mist Part of one of So's newer lines of body fragrance, which has some gorgeous scents from Pina Colada to Marshmallow & Watermelon. They're available from Boots, Superdrug and lots of other retailers. They retail for around £4 but are often on offer. This is a perfect body mist for around the home and chilled out day's. It lasts well and I love the vanilla scent! 5. Skinfood Freshmade Lemon Mask I have been a die hard fan of skinfood for years1 Their Black Sugar range is my favourite! This mask is available from a few Korean stores based here in the UK - sometimes stock can be hit and miss. Some stores that stock Skinfood are Ulta, YESSTYLE and Amazon. This mask smells amazing, it's a gel based mask that you wash out. It is so refreshing, gives you a beautiful glow and helps skin tone! I highly recommend this product if you see it, grab it! 6. Mac Mineralised Eyeshadow Quad. This Mac quad of eyeshadows with one of my favourite olive green shades in was given to me as a gift last year for my birthday and I have been loving it ever since. The colour pay off is amazing and blend so well. An oldie but a goodie. For my full review from last year click here.. Disappointing Products This month we have just one disappointing product The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution. This is available from a few different retailers such as The Ordinary's website, BeautyBay & Cult Beauty. It retails for £6.80. This product leaves a horrible tacky residue for hours after use. It also irritates my skin which is sensitive, makes it go red and slightly sore around the eyes. A massive pass for me. So there you have it guys my March favourites and fails. Not as many as previous months but some real gems in there! I'm looking forward to some Spring and Summer launches from different brands. I will have a post up in the next few weeks of some new make up launching that will be on the hit list to try! If there any products you want me to try for you then drop me a message! Until Next Time,

Hey guys, Today's review is on Benefit's Gimme Brow. My eyebrow's have always been something I have struggled to love. I feel that they always came up short, where never something I was proud of, until I started using Benefit's Gimme Brow product. This product will be back in stock towards the end of March and you'll be able to buy it from Benefit, Cult, Boots & other retailers that sell Benefit. It retails for £20.50 and is available in 3 different shades. 1,3 & 5. 1 is light, 3 which is medium and 5 is deep. Gimme Brow is a tinted eyebrow gel which includes tiny microfibers that adhere to both skin and hairs creating natural full looking eyebrows. The tiny brush helps with easy application. I completely agree with Benefits claims! Since using this product my eyebrows look full, it is easy to use, mess free and looks really natural. You can build up the coverage and gives natural looking volume. I use shade 3 for medium brown brows, it matches perfectly with my brows. I love being able to have full looking brows with just a few strokes of a brush, makes it so easy to create full looking brows. I give this product a full 9/10. I only took a point away because I believe there could be some more shades. It works perfectly, easy to use, gives you perfect eyebrows with just a few strokes or you can build the coverage up for more full coverage looks. I highly recommend this product! Make sure you keep a look out around 27th of March for the restock! Until Next Time, Hey guys! Over the past few months there have been a lot of foundation releases but one that I had to try was YSL's All Hours Foundation. With it's claim of 24 hours flawless coverage, I knew I had to try it. I matched myself up and my shade was B20! This foundation has 22 shades and is recommended for combination and oily skin. My skin is fairly normal yet can at times be sensitive. But I have seen a lot of different beauty guru's with lots of different skin types using this foundation. It was still a must try for me. The packaging for this product is very luxurious. It's in a frosted glass bottle, it feels heavy. It has a pump dispenser allowing you to control the amount of product dispensed. YSL claim this foundation is transfer proof. Full coverage with a finish that promises too look fresh and flawless for up to 24 hours. It is oil free & contains SPF20. Will blur pores while keeping them unclogged. It contains black tea an anti-oxidant to combat signs of dullness and fatigue. It has a high concentration of oil absorbing pigment that cover and smooth perfectly while resisting fading, flacking and heat humidity. Based on previous experiences with matte full coverage foundation I expected the consistency of this one to be a thick and heavy cream. But this foundation glided on effortlessly and blended like a dream. It wasn't cakey or heavy. It looks natural yet full coverage. My face looked airbrushed straight away. The coverage was medium to full coverage but you can build this up when needed without any adverse effects. It instantly covered my trouble areas such as my dark circles.. It didn't crease or make any fine lines prominent. I have sensitive skin at the moment but the formula didn't aggravate my skin at all. This foundation lasted 12 hours and still looked as perfect as when I applied it. My skin looked calm and hydrated. My skin after removing the foundation was smooth and unlike some foundation that dry my skin out, this one had locked hydration in. There are 22 shades to choose from, shades to match different undertones. The shades for neutral complexions are under the letter B, cooler tones are marked BR and warmer tones are labelled BD. Not only do YSL have the All hours foundation but there is a whole range including primers and concealer. So next up on my list is to try the All hours concealer. I give this product a full 10/10. This really is one of the most perfect foundation I have ever tried. I love the finish the foundation gives., it makes your skin looked airbrush. It's long-lasting and not only does it last all day but it looks perfect all day. It didn't aggravate my sensitive skin. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a new foundation or who is looking for a full coverage foundation. This foundation retails for £35 and is available from multiple stores such as; Boots, John Lewis, Debenhams, House Of Fraser & YSL Online. I hope you have enjoyed my review! Until Next Time, Hey guys, So I know I did a lust list just last week but that was for all items, this one is specially aimed towards new make up, skincare and so on, that will be coming out soon or has recently come out! Until Next Time, Hey Guys, Welcome to the second Favourite's & Fails of the year! I am quite excited for this one, I have tried lots of new products this month and there have definitely been some hits and misses! So make sure you check out down below what I was loving and what I would avoid! Product Of The Month This has been the easiest product I have ever picked as product of the month. Anastasia Beverly Hills X Amrezy Highlighter. This is available on Anastasia Beverly Hills Website UK for £29 and in my opinion is worth every penny! If you buy only one highlighter this year make sure it is this one! It's a gorgeous light gold that would suit all skin tones. It is truly blinding and gives you the most beautiful glow! Check out my full review here. 2. Jouer Cosmetics Blush Bouquet Dual Blush Palette. This is available from BeautyBay & Cult Beauty for between £25-28. I purchased Adore which is a warm dusty peach and a shimmering warm pale nude. This is highly pigmented and long lasting. Perfect to travel with and the packaging is absolutely beautiful, with a gorgeous floral print. 3. Benefit's BadGal BANG Mascara. You can purchase this from Benefit's website, Debenhams & Boots for £21.50, there is also a mini version, however it has been sold out most of the time since of release. This mascara promises 36 hours of wear which I'm not sure I agree with. I do however love how well it turns out, how well it lifts the lashes. It also lengthens and adds volume. I have incredibly straight lashes and so far for me the results are amazing! I love the blacker that black formula. This mascara gives you some serious lift, volume and length. Click here for my full review. 4. Nars Orgasm Blusher & Lipstick. This was part of their Christmas collection however the items are available individually from the Nars website. This was a mini set that cost £20. I have fallen in love with them especially the blush, this last month. It's a gorgeous coral/pink shade which is different for me. It gives me a gorgeous faint colour, which can be built up. It does have a small amount of glitter which I normally don't like in a blusher however it blends in well with your highlighter and gives you a gorgeous colour for winter months. The lipstick is a true match to the blusher and perfect for everyday use. 5. Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer This one is a oldie but a goodie. I recently fell back in love with smashbox's photo finish primer which you can get from both the Smashbox website and Boots. It retails at £15 for the travel size and £26 for the full size. Pores aren't one of my biggest issues however this primer does minimise them, evens out my skin tone, giving me a completely smooth canvas to apply my make up too. I do think this primer helps the longevity of my make up. A little really does go a long way with this product so for me, this primer is well worth it's price! 6. Real Techniques Brush Crush 305 This is a eyeshadow brush and it works so well, it picks up product really well. It blends like a dream and feels comfortable in the hand. 301 This is a foundation brush however I have been using it for baking and wiping away loose powder. It is so soft and works amazingly, it wipes excess powder away without effort. It's a versatile brush and can be used for many different things. I love real technique brushes and these are no exception. I love the glitter and the ombré that runs through the super soft bristles! Well worth their price, which ranges between £9.99 - £12.99 7. Freedom Make Up HD Eye Foils These where originally on sale for £5 but I purchased them when they where on sale for just £2.50! Such a bargain for something that preforms so well! They are extremely pigmented & blend out like a dream. These are a little hit and miss to find on Superdrug but definitely worth grabbing if you see them for sale! Disappointing Products First up we have the new sister to Benefits Pore fessional which is a cult classic for a reason - it works! You can purchase the new Pore fessional Pearl primer from Benefit's website, Boots & Cult for £27.50, you can also get the mini travel size for £10.50. Now it's not that this is an awful primer because it isn't. It does exactly the same as the original, it's pore minimising, oil controlling and gives you a smooth canvas to apply your foundation. It just doesn't brighten your skin like it claims, it gives a very ( and I mean very ) faint pearlescent glimmer, but it's so faint you can barely notice it. Which is why it's a bit of a flop for me, I'll be sticking to the original for sure! 2. Maybelline's Master Holographic Highlighter After falling in love with Maybelline's Master Chrome's gold highlighter I thought I would pick up another and give it a go & I wish I hadn't! This highlighter is a complete flop for me! I purchased this from Superdrug for £7.99. Not only is it far to light for my skin tone, it leaves a white cast over the skin, in certain lights it looks like I have flour on my face. It is extremely chunky and the formula is very dry compared to the master chrome's which was so buttery and soft. This is very chalky and has large glitter pieces which I am not a fan of. Doesn't stay on the skin very long at all, within an hour or so it had pretty much disappeared. I would avoid this like the plague, a huge flop for me. Let me know what products you have been loving or hating and maybe I will check them out! Also make sure you check out my social media channels for a giveaway! Until Next Time, |
