Hey Guys! Today's review is a slightly shorter one, on a lip scrub by the company called Frank Body. I purchased this from BeautyBay for £8.95 for 15ml. I love their packaging. The outer packaging is simple but effective. The pot itself is simple yet sleek. It is a slim pot but the diameter of the pot is rather large. This product is an all natural buffing lip scrub. It's key ingredients are Ground Robusta coffee and raw sugar, coffee seed oil, macadamia oil and beeswax. These ingredients cover everything from your exfoliate to hydration and conditioning to make sure that this scrub is the best you can get to condition your lips. The paste of this scrub is gritty with coffee bits and sugar as you would expect. When you first apply this to your lips it grips well and isn't to messy. It stays where you place it and then your able to work it over your lips either with your finger or by placing your lips together. It feels gritty but then again it's meant to, as you gently buff your lips it doesn't feel uncomfortable or too scratchy it feels surprisingly gentle. I usually buff away with the scrub for around 2 minutes to make sure that I have gone over every part of the lips several times. This product is completely edible so after you are done, you can go ahead and lick this product straight off your lips. This isn't for me, so I just take a wet cloth and make sure I wipe away all excess product. Because the coffee and sugar granules are mixed with macadamia oil and conditioning beeswax so your lips still feel extremely hydrated after use and this helps to contribute to the final finish of soft, supple and moisturised. The only thing that is a personal preference is that this product has confirmed my dislike for coffee, and because the main part of the scrub is coffee I don't think I will be repurchasing. However if your a lover of coffee or looking for a great scrub then this is definitely one to try. It works extremely well, it removed dead skin, it buffs the lips gently into a smooth and slightly plumped pout. Applying a lip balm afterwards will also help make sure that your lips are fully hydrated. This scrub gets a 7/10 purely for the smell and taste not being my cup of tea or should I say coffee? Until Next Time.

Hey Guys! Today we are here to review some of Anatomicals face masks. I was lucky enough to have these sent to me by Anatomicals themselves. Whilst I received these for free, I have not been paid to talk about them & all opinions shared are that of my own. If you don't want to read a sponsored posts that's fine but you'll be missing out on all the tea! I have been a huge fan of Anatomicals for a good old while now. Having tried a good few of their products, with some making it to my favourites and holy grails! I even did a dedicated post to the company back when I first started my blog. Click here to give it a read. The first item I tried was their Apricot scrub named "Get Outta My Face Dirtball". The first thing that hits you is the scent and it smells so sweet and I love it, it reminds me summer. The consistency is fairly thick but when applied to damp skin, it creams up nicely and decent size granules. You use this in small circular motions around the face, you can feel the granules exfoliating the skin, it doesn't feel uncomfortable but you can feel that it is fairly gritty and it feels like it's working which I love, I hate having scrubs that you can barely feel and doesn't feel like they're working. I have actually purchased this so that I could continue using this, I have been using it just 2 a week because I have sensitive skin. I got a full 3 uses out of just 1 sachet and in most Anatomical packs you get 3 masks. This does make my face slightly red for a little while but that is just due to my sensitive skin! The results are amazing both immediately and after continued use. I have fairly good skin anyway but when I use this, I have no texture, my skin looks clearer and feels so smooth. My skin also look healthy and fresh. So I am a huge fan of this product and give it a 8/10 just because it can cause a little irritation and redness after use, but nothing that would put me of using! Next up we have my favourite mask that Anatomicals sent over. The purifying charcoal face mask called "No Breakouts, It's Alcatraz For Spots". I applied this on clean dry skin as instructed, I applied an even thick layer avoiding the eyes. I left it on for around 10 minutes until it was pretty much dry. It removed easily with a warm cloth. My first reaction was Wow! My skin after using this just once was amazing! As I have said before I have pretty good skin anyway suffering from just a few blemishes. My skin straight away looked clear, fresh and slightly matte. I feel like it removed all oil and grime from the face.I have completely fallen in love with this mask and the results it gives me. I had enough left from using it for my partner, when we removed it from his skin it confirmed how much I love this mask! It helped to clear his blemishes and area's of congested skin. It also helped to remove some of his blackheads. This face mask is available both on its own and in a pack of 3. This mask gets a huge 10/10 from me & it will definitely be becoming a permanent part of my skincare routine. The third face mask I tried was the anti blemish "The Hottie Tottie Is Never Spotty" This mask smelt amazing. I applied this one again on clean dry skin, left it to dry, which took just over 10 minutes and removed very easily with a warm cloth. I noticed through trying these that the masks were always easy to remove with a warm cloth. There are some amazing ingredients within this face mask; Kaolin clay which draws out impurities, White Tea Tree oil which is a natural antiseptic and helps to fight spots. You have Sage oil which is soothing and Evening Primrose Oil which balances the skin while helping you to relax. This mask not only helped my skin feel smooth but it left my complexion visibly more even and brighter. I really enjoyed how relaxing this mask made me feel, mainly down to the gorgeous Evening Primrose Oil which you can smell although not over powering. This mask again gets full marks from me a full 10/10 and I just loved the different I saw when using this mask. The last face mask that I tried out is a skin boosting honey face mask named "That's What We Can Well Stung". I again applied it evenly on freshly cleaned face that was dry. It took between 5-10 minutes to dry which it states on the sachet. This mask is extremely nourishing and my face after using this was extremely smooth and hydrated. The only thing about this mask is the strong scent of honey, which isn't my favourite unfortunately, But that is just a personal preference. The actual mask preforms extremely well and the benefits of this mask are amazing. My skin not only felt smooth and hydrated but it also looked matte and you could tell any excess oil had been absorbed. I would give this mask a 6/10 just because I find the scent hard to cope with. However that doesn't take away from the fact that it is an amazing mask and if you like the scent of honey then this mask is for you! So my last thoughts. I am an even bigger fan of Anatomicals! Their products have some amazing results. My skin after trying these products feels amazing, the softest it ever has and looks amazing, completion is clear, my pores are smaller and my blemishes are less and my make up has been applying like a dream! I highly recommend their products, they are available to purchase from; Fragrance Direct, Cloud10Beauty, Asos, Superdrug and many more. Where a variety of their products are for sale including these face masks which are available as part of packs and individually. I hope you've enjoyed my review on these amazing face masks, let me know if you've tried any of their products and what your views are? Until Next Time, Hey Guys, Today's review is slightly different. I am a lover of high end make up and decided recently to branch out and try some more high street make up. So I thought why not buy some Primark make up and see if it is any good and if it is even worth it's cheap price tag! So I purchased a few different items and game them all a try. So as we go down through the products I thought I would give them a small review and score before giving you my final thoughts. First up we have a contour kit, which contains 3 shades. I can honestly say that unfortunately this is one of the worst contour kits I have come across! The contour shade is extremely muddy, the face powder was like white talc and the highlight was more of a pink shade. The formula is awful and very dry and it had no staying power. I luckily tested this while staying around the house, it had no staying power, it broke up on my skin and looked like I had covered my face in talc! This product gets a 0/10 - avoid this product! Secondly we have their lipstick crayon in the shade Mushroom. This product was on sale for 50p but was it even worth that? In this case, Yes! I love the shade, it has a gorgeous tone. It applied easily, it was very smooth and covered in one coat. It had a good pigment, the only downfall is that it didn't have much staying power. It get's a 7/10. Next we have a blusher. It retails for £1.50 and I purchased the shade Taboo. It is a beautiful subtle coral shade. The formula isn't to dry and there isn't much fall out when you pick the product up. It is a more subtle blush which I prefer however you can build it up for more coverage.. Again the only downfall with the blusher was that the staying power wasn't very good and it only lasted a few hours before nearly disappearing completely. Therefore I give it a score of 5/10. Next we have their Mattifying Blotting Paper. You get 50 sheets for £1. I don't suffer with oily skin but I have tried these throughout the summer on both myself and family members. The results varied each time. When using these, there seemed to always be evidence of make up on the paper, however it didn't seem to damage the make up to badly but it also didn't really do much to help either. Personally I would bother with these. I don't tend to get oily anyway so for me these are a waste of money. I also wouldn't want to risk ruining any make up if out for the day. These get a 3/10 and are neither here nor there really. We have their setting spray next. It cost £2 which if it works would be a bargain! But unfornately this product is a complete bust! This spray smells like hairspray, very strong cheap hairspray. It get's in your mouth and tastes horrible. It did nothing to my make up and didn't help the longevity of it. All it did was make my face tacky and managed to get everywhere including my hair, making that extremely sticky also. This product gets a 0/10 from me. : Last up we have my favourite product that I tested. Their Mascara which retails for just £1 and comes in a variety of colours, I picked up the black one. Now this mascara is by no means up to the standards of L'Oréal Lash Paradise standard. ( Check my review out here ) However it does coat your lashes beautifully, giving it a little length. There was no clumps and it lasted fairly well, however after about 6/7 hours you do get a few specks fall off but nothing awful. It is a soft mascara and perfect for those more natural make up days. A complete bargain for its price & a possible repurchase of mine. I give this product a 8/10. Overall Primark's make up line is like most of their things and is very hit and miss. I think you have to be willing to try out their products to find those 1 or 2 gems of which their definitely are some and then chalk the rest up to a loss if they don't work. I would say that for me, I am not a fan in general but it has taught me that not all make up needs to be high end to work. But as for Primark, is it worth its price tag? I would say yes, some items are worth giving a go and seeing if it works. I would say take it as you find it, you may find some flops and you may find some amazing products, you just have to be willing to give everything a go. You never know they may work for you and without breaking the bank! Let me know if you have any favourite's from Primark of if you have tried it and like me think it's a bit of a flop? It does state on their website it is full coverage so we will see if I like it or not. I hope you've enjoyed seeing some of the products that I'm going to be testing out over the next few weeks. Some may appear in a few posts. Let me know your thoughts on any of these products or if you have any products you want me to try out and review for you. Until Next Time, Hey Guys Today's review is on one of my favourite companies GlamGlow & their Supermud clearing treatment Mud mask. I first purchased the smaller travel size as I am still trying them all out. But I have since ordered the larger jar as both myself and my partner are loving this treatment! The travel jar retails for £16 for 15g and the larger jar retails for £39 for 50g of product. Although these treatments are slightly pricey - they really are worth their money in my opinion. We got over 5 treatments from the travel jar & it definitely is small enough to travel with and take with you to give your skin that boast if your travelling or so on. I love the smell of this mask, it has a strong eucalyptus smell, but it reminds me of the mask and how well it preforms. I use a mask brush to apply a thin layer to clean skin. Leave it on for 5-20 minutes. Then remove with water. ( which can be the tricky part & takes a good few minutes with warm water to rinse the mask off.) I use this treatment just twice a week as I found if I used it anymore than twice my skin felt slightly dry. This mask dries down and as it does tiny dots of oil show through on the side of my nose as the activated charcoal drinks them up. It breaks down any build up of sebum and bacteria that may be on the face. This mask, my well be my favourite mask that I have ever tried. I don't suffer with problematic skin, it is fairly normal yet sensitive. But I have never suffered from breakouts, spots or oily skin. However I still noticed a massive difference when I use this mask. When I use this mask my skin feels absolutely amazing. I noticed a difference the first time I used it. Any tiny blackheads are gone, there is no oil, my skin is matte & feels so soft & smooth. All blemishes are gone and my skin looks completely clear. I give this mask a full 10/10 the only thing that may put people off is this price. But then I would suggest getting the travel size jar to make sure it's a treatment that you enjoy and works for you. I highly recommend this treatment! Until Next Time, Hey Guys, Today's post is a bit of a different one. As most of you know I went for surgery this week, but unfornately it didn't go well & I ended up quite poorly.. But I thought I would do a new series on my blog, a kind of "What's In" with the first being What's In My Over Night Hospital Bag! So even though I have been quite poorly I still wanted some of my favourite products with me and to try and keep up with some of my skincare so that my skin didn't suffer at all. First up in my overnight bag we have some dry shampoo! I purchased this full size Batiste from Asda for £2.90. Although I always French braid my hair, the last thing you want is any oily roots! I love the smell of the tropical scent and Batiste soaks up all the oil without leaving a white cast all over the hair! Check back soon for a post comparing some high end dry shampoo goes head to head with some more budget friendly options. Second up we have my favourite Micellar water. I love using this after I have washed my face as an extra step, it is amazing at going that extra bit and really cleansing your face and neck. I find it very soothing and a nice little extra. Using it in hospital is a great way to keep your face clean and cool! Plus how cute is this small bottle from B&M just £1 for 125ml of product! Third up we have my favourite sleep mask at the moment by Oh K for just £4 from Beautybay for 20ml of product. It says 5-6 uses but I can definitely get around 10 uses out of this, applying generous layer 2-3 times a week. This always leaves my skin feeling hydrated, moisturised, smooth and my make up always applies beautifully the day after use. I bought this with me because it is so easy to use and the benefits are amazing! I have definitely noticed an improvement in my skin since using sleep masks! Next up we have my favourite body lotion of all time by one of my favourite brands of all time Anatomicals! This lotion is full sized at 250ml but it's well worth the space it takes up. This body lotion is absolutely beautiful, it smells divine and it leaves my skin so smooth for up to 24 hours. Check out my review on this product as part of post on Anatomicals. Next we have my favourite hand cream by the brand L'occitane this is the Shea Butter at 20%. I purchased this one in store at Marks & Spencers for £8, you get 30mls of product, perfect for an overnight bag or travelling with. These hand creams go along way, you don't need to use a lot to benefit from them. Anybody who knows me knowns,my hands are extremely soft! This hand cream just keeps them that way, it keeps them protected and well nourished. The scent isn't over powering but is faint and very pleasant. Now we have a company that has taken the internet by storm and made it into my July favourites. The Ordinary & their Natural Moisturizing Factors+HA. I purchased this from TheOrdinary.com for £4.90 for 30ml which is a perfect size for putting into your washbag. You can also purchase The Ordinary from Beautybay, Cult Beauty & Asos among other places. I have been using this for a while and I absolutely love it! It has become a vital part of my skincare routine & I am looking forward to trying some more of their range! Check out my full review here! Last up we have some travel size shampoo, I don't see the point in travel size shampoo or conditioner usually as my hair is so long that it will only do a wash at the most. But this was on sale and I thought it was better to be prepared and have something there to wash my hair with rather than nothing. You can purchase Aussie products at most highstreet shops and supermarkets such as Boots, Superdrug, Asda & many more! I hope you enjoyed this slightly different post, if you did make sure you give me a share & subscribe to my blog! I will be carrying this series of blog posts on in the future with categories such "What's in my holiday make up bag" & "What's in my Handbag" featuring many different products! I thought this would be a good post to pop up while I'm in hospital, as it's current with what is going on in my life at the moment! But Until Next Time, Hey Guys Today's review is on one of my favourite companies GlamGlow & their Supermud clearing treatment Mud mask. I first purchased the smaller travel size as I am still trying them all out. But I have since ordered the larger jar as both myself and my partner are loving this treatment! But then I would suggest getting the travel size jar to make sure it's a treatment that you enjoy and works for you. I highly recommend this treatment! Until Next Time, Hey Guys! As you may know I have been on a major hunt for a new mascara - One to give me the lashes I should have been born with! So with that in mind I had to try L'Oréal's new Lash Paradise; the hype for this mascara was huge! With rumors that it was a dupe for what has been dubbed 'The worlds best mascara' Too Faced's Better Than Sex Mascara. Which probably has been my favourite so far on my mascara hunt. But with the Lash Paradise having a price tag of only £11.99 I was desperate to try it! I purchased this from Superdrug it is also available at Boots. L'oréal profess to "give intense volume, spectacular length and a feather soft feel" which sounds like heaven to me! But do I agree? Hell Yeah! This mascara delivers all it's promises! It volumised my lashes, lengthened them dramatically for me.. They looked fuller & thicker but my lashes also looked feathery, there was no clumping and you could see each lash separately. This is definitely a mascara that you only need one coat of for a naturally full & volumised look. However it is buildable too, the second coat added even more length and even slightly curled my lashes up. I personally wouldn't do more than 2 coats, because 1 it doesn't need it & 2 I feel like it could get slightly clumpy with more than 2 coats. I was really impressed with how well it separated my lashes giving a much fuller effect. This mascara has great staying powder and lasts all day without smudging or flaking onto the face. When it came to removing it after a long day, it removed easily with my Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm. (Click Here For Review) Now as I mentioned before this mascara is being considered a dupe for the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. Apart from the pink frosted tubing and the similarity between the brushes. The L'Oréal Lash Paradise wins hands down for me! Have I finally found a mascara I am happy with? Yess! This mascara will definitely become a permanent staple in my make up collection, but is a girl ever truly happy? My hunt will definitely slow down but I will always be looking for that perfect mascara! So my final thoughts. I would hands down recommend this mascara for anyone who is on the hunt for a new one! It get's a full 10/10 from me. I would even say it isn't just one of the best high-street mascara's out at the moment but possible one of the best mascara's in general to be currently on the market! So what you waiting for? Go & buy yours now! Until Next Time Hey Guys! I say this every month but my god this year is going so fast & I feel like it will be Christmas again tomorrow! I have a great mixture of products to review for todays favourites & fails! Next month I'm not too sure how many il have as I am having major surgery on the 9th of August. But let's go ahead and jump into this months favourites & fails. Favourites First on my favourites list is something I reviewed not too long ago. The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors & HA Surface Hydration Formula. This retails for usually around the price of £4.90, which is an amazing price for such a brilliant product! It is available from many online retailers including their own website, Beautybay & CultBeauty. This moisturiser is lightweight, it hydrates my skin amazingly it doesn't cause any breakouts or clog my pores up. My skin is super soft, it feels amazing, it looks clear and I am in absolute love with this product! I have since order more of their products & cannot wait to see how they preform! Check out my full review here. My next favourite is something I reviewed a while back but have been absolutely loving this past month. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Blush Trio. Available on their own website and retails for £27. It is the perfect summer blush trio, I have the shade Peachy Love which gives you such a gorgeous natural pop of colour. I especially love the shade Miami which is a brighter peach colour with golden sparkle. You can read my full review here. My 3rd Favourite for the month of July is the brand L'occitane and their shea butter hand cream at 20%. I purchased this from Marks & Spencers. Although you can buy it straight from their own website. Retails for around £8. I have had a few of their hands creams and this is my favourite. I have super soft hands and this helps to keep them super soft. The scent isn't over powering and it doesn't make your hands feel greasy or tacky. I got the 30ml travel size as it's going into my hospital bag for my operation this month. But there is different sizes for their hand creams. The next item on my list is by MUA and their lip scrub from Superdrug. It retails for £3 usually but I purchased it on sale at just £1.50! This has got to be one of my favourite lip products I have tried in a long while. It doesn't taste of anything & has vitamin E for extra moisture. It looks like a lipstick and you apply it like a lipstick back and forth a few times before washing off the remanding product off. My lips feel amazing after I use this., I use it every 2/3 days. They are soft & all dry skin is removed. All lipsticks apply nicer and look perfect. I highly recommend this product! Next on the list we have my perfume for the summer by Marc Jacobs - Daisy Dream. I purchased this from Debenhams, it usually retails for £55 for 50ml perfume. You can also purchase this from Boots, The Perfume Shop, John Lewis and many more. This is a gorgeous floral and fruity take on the original perfume which is perfect for the Summer. Next is Maybelline's Color Show Nail Varnishes. I have several different colours but my favourite is one of their newer shades 232 Rose Chic which is part of a limited edition collection. It is a gorgeous glittery shade that makes your toes sparkle. These are a bargain at just £3.99 on Superdrug, who often have deals on their products! Last on my favourites list is Morphe's Liquid lipsticks which I reviewed earlier in July. These lipsticks are available at Beautybay for £10.50. They are amazing quality for a really good price. They last all day, they don't crack or make your lips dry and the colour selection is amazing! Click here to read my full review! Fails First on this months Fails is a product I reviewed just this week which left me really disappointed! E.L.F's baked highlighter in the shade Moonlight Pearls. This product gave me no colour payoff, didn't give me anything even after scratching the top layer off which was suggested online. Click here for my full review on E.L.F's Baked Highlighter. Next on the list is another product that I reviewed not too long ago, which was a major flop! MUA's Paper Highlighting Sheets which retail for £3.. There isn't much I can say other than these don't work, AT ALL! They are very gimmicky and fun but they just don't do anything! Click here for my full review. So there you have it. July's Favourites & Fails. August is a pretty tough month for me with some major surgery at the beginning of the month. Therefore I'm not sure how many new products I will be trying. I know that I will be focusing on Skincare and some easy pampering to try and make myself feel better! So until next month, take care & let me know what made your favourites and maybe I will check them out. Hey Guys, Today's post is slightly different to normal. Milk Make Up - There are loads of different items I would love to try from this company including; Holographic Highlighting Powder, Cooling Water, Holographic Lip Gloss, and many more! It looks like such a new and different concept to make up. 7. Colourpop - Okay I cannot get enough of this company and their products. I have ordered a few times from them but it costs quite a lot for customs and taxes. There is a few items I'd like to get my hands on such as; Gimme More!Highlighting Palette, Supershock Highlighters, No Filter Concealers and many more products! This is just some of the amazing make up available over in the US that is harder to get over here in the UK. Hopefully over the next few months I will get my hands on some of these items and be able to give you some reviews! Until Next Time, |
