Hey Guys, Today's review is a quick one on the Instagram famous Bilou Shower Foam! This company seemed to be everywhere on Instagram with lots of funky scents to try out. I decided to try the Coco Cocktail - a tropical scent with coconut and vanilla, an extremely sweet scent. This foam really does expand and you get a lot in the can! Making the £3.99 worth the price. My personal opinion on the product, is that it really is a creamy foam, it expands greatly, you get a lot of product for your money. I love the coconut and vanilla scent. However it really doesn't last long, when washed off it completely disappears and you can no longer smell it. I don't really like foam based products, this one does feel nice to wash with, I just am not too keen that the scent completely washes away and vanishes unlike shower gels. So unfortunately this product doesn't score high for me, with just a 3/10. What about you have you tried it? It seemed to be all over Instagram! Until Next Time, Hey Guys, Today's review is a 6 month check in on my hair while using the chewable Hairburst Vitamins. These retail for £19.99 for a months supply of 60, you take 2 a day. They taste mostly of strawberry and are just like having 2 small sweets. Sometimes you can find them for half price on sites like Holland & Barrett & BeautyBay. You can check my first review on Hairburst here. I love the packaging of Hairburst. The pastel colours, the clear instructions, how it grabs your attention. Before I started taking these tablets I was having a hard time with my hair. I suffer from Crohns disease, that teamed with the medication and surgeries was leaving me with clumps of hair falling out. My hair was getting thinner, it lacked shine and was looking extremely unhealthy. After 3 months I did a review, I showed you how my hair started to regain its health. The clumps started to get smaller till eventually they have now settled to just the odd strands, which everyone gets when you have long hair. My hair's general health has improved greatly. It is thicker, stronger and has a beautiful shine to it. My hair has now got to the stage where it is extremely healthy. The appearance is gorgeous ( thanks to my amazing hairdresser aswell ) but it's shiny , it's strong, it's full of moisture, thicker and longer! It has less tangles when wet, it stays smoother and softer for longer. I don't need to wash my hair so often, I'm not sure if that's the vitamins or my general care for my hair but everything has improved 10X over all thanks to these wonderful chewable vitamins. My hair is still growing a lot faster than it used to, I'm having less breakage, my hair is fully nourished and full of moisture, it deals with direct heat a lot better. I will continue to use these as I believe it is maintaining my hair at a really healthy level as well as helping it grow at a really nice rate. I highly recommend these to people who are not just looking to grow their hair but also want to improve the general health of their hair. I give them a full 10/10 I think they are worth their price and if your feeling a little bit sceptical please look past that and give them a go, you won't regret it! Until Next Time, Hey Guys, Today's review is on a selection of Sephora masks, from face masks to foot masks! I'm extremely lucky to have an amazing friend who recently went to America and bought back some Sephora goodies to try out. So let's jump straight into the first product & review. The first mask is the Sephora Pink Clay Mask. This is probably my favourite out of all of the ones I tried. I got 6 uses out of this clay mask. I love the packaging, it feels nice to be able to put the little lid back on after use and for it to stay sanitary. My face after the first use felt soft, it appeared clearer, my skin tone was much more even & looked radiant. After using it for a few weeks my face looked brighter, clearer. The skins tone had improved and felt absolutely amazing. My skin reflected the improvement when wearing make up, the foundation applied like a dream and looked perfect. The scent was pleasant but not to over powering. I have sensitive skin but this didn't irritate me at all and was quite calming. I left it on for the full 15 minutes each time and really enjoyed the experience. I give this a full 9/10. The next that I tried was the Pomegranate eye mask. I love these type of masks, I find them relaxing but I don't always find that they work well. However this mask is probably the best that I have tried so far. I suffer from dark circles from being quite poorly, having bad sleep and so on. You leave this mask on for 15 minutes however I left them a little longer and relaxed. When removing them my eyes looked far less puffy, more energized and the scent is very pleasant. The results actually lasted around 48 hours and left my eyes looking far less puffy which was a huge hit for me. It didn't really affect my skin tone or colour but was still a huge hit for me & I highly recommend and give a good 7/10. Next we have The Lavender Foot Mask. This was probably my least favourite of the ones I tried, the scent is extremely over powering like most lavender products, which I'm not to keen on. I have size 8 feet ( large I know ) and when I started to fit them they split up the back and became awkward to put on the foot, however once I had them in place and left them for a while. They where extremely soothing and my feet after using this mask was extremely smooth, both the heels and the top of the foot. I massaged in the extra serum and it was quite relaxing. I give this a 5/10 it was a good product, I just wasn't keen on the scent and the bootie itself split which was slightly annoying but the over all outcome was good. Last up we have Aloe Vera Hand Mask. This is the first hand mask I have tried so I don't have anything to compare it to but I really enjoyed using this. I left it on for 15 minutes.. The scent was a more gentle scent then some of the other masks I had tried. My hands straight after use felt so moisturised, soft and intensely nourished. I have extremely soft hands anyway so this just helped to keep them beautifully moisturised. They felt light when then came out of the mask like air, it felt very relaxing and it definitely helped to keep my hands moisturised going into the winter. I highly recommend these and give them a 8/10 just because I haven't tried any others but would definitely re purchase this item! I hope you've enjoyed my hits and misses within the Sephora mask collection. I really enjoyed trying out some different products and experiencing some beauty items from America. I highly recommend giving some of their masks a go, they seem to be great quality for a really reasonable price! Until Next Time , Hey Guys, Today's post is a quick review on a new face mask that I tried earlier in the week, the Soap & Glory Speed Plump Miracle Moisture Mask available from Boots for £3.50. This mask is fairly straight forward to apply. Ensure your face is clean and dry before removing the mask from the outer packaging. You then remove a film and place the mask which is gel onto the face and sit back and relax for 20-30 minutes. When you reach 30 minutes remove the mask and either wipe away excess serum or massage into the face.
The scent on this mask was orange, although very gentle and sweet it wasn't to over powering. The mask came in 2 pieces so that it can fit perfectly to the face. I liked that this mask is gel and not a sheet, I feel that it fits better and stays on the face for the full time. After around 15 minutes my skin started to sting slightly, bearing in mind that I have sensitive skin, I checked to see if it said anything about sensitive skin on the packaging but it didn't. Within a few minutes of it starting to sting it got worse and I had to remove the mask around 15 minutes into the treatment. My skin was extremely red, blotchy and carried on stinging for another hour. I didn't see any benefits from this mask, whether that was from removing it to early or because the mask wasn't a hit I'm not sure? So although I cannot give you a full review, I can tell you that if you have sensitive skin you may want to give this mask a miss? My skin stayed red for a few hours and stung for a good hour after removing the mask and that was with washing the excess serum off. So for me this mask scores a 0/10 and I wont be repurchasing or recommending it. Until Next Time, |
