Hey Guys, So recently I posted on my different social media channels that you could ask me anything! That's right absolutely anything you liked! So this is a continuation from those posts where I answer all of your questions! Feel free to ask anything you want in the comments and I'll get back to you or I'll create another post in a few weeks! Without further a do let's jump straight in! Q. How old are you? A. I have just turned 26 and I am now officially closer to 30 than 20! Q. How long have you been with your partner? A. I have been with Pete for just under 6 1/2 years! The time has flown by, I was just 19 when we met, it seems a lifetime ago! Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? A. This is such an interesting question, Hopefully my health will be on the up. Pete and I plan on marrying in the next 2/3 years. So hopefully in 5 years we will be married, have a baby, have travelled a little more and hopefully my blog will take off alongside being a make up artist, but this all depends on my health and my operations over the next 12 months. Q. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? A. I love where I live, Cornwall, England is a beautiful area. I have over 5 beaches all within just 10 minute car journey, you have countryside's and clean air. The only thing I find annoying is how far behind Cornwall is with make up,fashion and so on. But to answer the question I would probably stick to England and go to London to experience life in a busy city. Q. Favourite underrated product? A. Either Anatomicals Neroli body lotion because it is an amazing moisturiser and really hydrates my body, or Real Techniques Complexion sponge, similar to the beauty bender but softer, applies better and soaks up less foundation. Q, What is your blogging motivation? A. I think this is one of my favourite questions asked. I started my blog because I am currently unable to work due to different illnesses. Meaning I am unable to carry on being a make up artist which is my passion. I wanted a way to stay up to date with make up, with the trends and different products that came out. I have so much make up I thought it would be a good way to still be able to express myself and I can even do it from bed when I am unable to get up,which happens more days than I'd like. Since starting it and getting so many readers so quickly, to win blogger of the month in a blogging community and to have companies already recognising my blog and featuring the blog on their social media, then gives me motivation to carry on and keep growing, I find everything about blogging exciting, from planning blog posts, to taking the photos and making blog post go live. I love it all! Q. How has the beauty industry affected your life? Positive or negatively? A. This is a tricky question. When I first started doing beauty therapy at college I found it hard to fit in, I was the only plus size girl in my group. When I went into the salon environment again I was the only plus size girl, I was different from the other girls and they definitely liked to point it out. However I also noticed that I was getting more clients each week, some even said I was more approachable then the other girls, I found this reassuring. However since going into blogging and it mainly being about beauty, hair and make up, it has been nothing but positive. The girls that I have interacted with have all been so supportive and welcoming. I love that woman can build each other up and give each other support , that's a community that I want to be a part of. Q. What would your perfect Sunday plans be? A. I love a nice lie in, breakfast in bed, which my partner often does,( I know lucky, right!) Sunday roast, preferably my mums because she is an amazing cook, A nice walk on the beach or baking some home made goods. Maybe a film and a snuggle. Binge watch some Netflix. I love just chilling out and being at home. Q> You've said you have a few health problems? What exactly are they and how do you tackle them? A. I suffer from Crohn's disease - this is a long term condition, which causes inflammation of any part of the digestive tract. The symptoms can include but aren't limited to ; diarrhoea, abdominal pain, fatigue ( extreme tiredness). I also suffer from ; Intracranial Hypertension - which is a build up of pressure around the brain. The symptoms of this constant throbbing headache, blurred vision, temporary loss of vision, nausea and severe head pain. I also have , Vitamin B12 deficiency, Anaemia, Hiatus hernia, Chornic fatigue, Optical Neuritis and I also have nerve damage to my left hand from having carpal tunnel surgery. These are the main complaints that I have. However they often lead to other complications and I am on a lot of medication which has some severe side effects. Q. When are you getting married? A. We are getting married within the next few years, We of course want to get married as soon as possible but we know that we are content in our relationship and letting it naturally progressed. I have to wait until I have had my impending surgery and my health needs to improve before we are able to carry on planning our wedding. We are however extremely happy. Q. What is your best childhood memory? A. I have so many fond memories of my childhood. Most are centred around my Grandad. He once surprised me with a helicopter ride to the Isle of Silly and we spent the day together it was the perfect day out. At Christmas he would take me to Mc Donalds and we would eat it in the car before going all around our neighbourhood counting all the Christmas lights and searching for the best house lights. - This is my favourite memory, ever! Q. If you won the lottery what would you do? A. I feel like my answer will be the same as most other peoples. I would probably start by having my surgery privately, so that it's done and I can start to move on with my life. Then I would do all the normal things, buy a house, get married, buy some clothes, buy the family houses and cars. Then I would probably try to start my own make up company and open a few beauty salons. I would donate to charities and try to help other people as much as I could. Q, Who do you admire most in life? A. My mum - hands down. She is wonder woman. She is the most selfless person you could ever meet, she puts everyone before herself, she looks after my nan as her carer, She went through open brain surgery last year, she was so brave and fought so hard, She was back looking after others within weeks. She is the best mum I could ask for, she has supported me through everything in my life. She has never told me I can't do it, she's always pushed me to achieve my dreams. She is jus truly the best person you could hope to meet. .Q. What are you most afraid of? A. Death, I think it is more the unknown, I don't know what's next and that scares me. Of leaving the ones I love and also if it's painful to pass away? Or is it beautiful ? Like I said the unknown. Also Clowns - They are effing horrible!!!! Okay guys, that completes all the questions that you all asked me! Some of them where harder to answer than I thought they would be, but I'm glad I have done it. Hopefully it helps you to get to know the girl behind the blog! Like I said feel free to ask me anything in the comments below & don't forget to subscribe to my blog! Until Next Time, Kayleigh ❤
