Today we are talking about another hugely popular item, Stila's Magnificent metals glitter and glow eyeshadows. I saw them all over the internet so naturally I had to add some to my collection! This item is great fun! It is so easy to use, you simply apply it with the doe-foot application for intense glitter. I wouldn't recommend using them with a brush as you wont get a good amount of product and it will be harder to create a good eye look, I have however used my finger to help pat the eyeshadow in and move it where I need to slightly. The texture is so smooth and isn't chunky at all, it applies easily and also removes easily. I haven't had to touch it up as of yet when wearing it & believe it's statement of longwearing to be true. With such good colour pay off and little needed this product will last a while which makes its price point slightly less of a sting at £23. If unsure I would purchase just a few to try, you won't be disappointed. They are great fun to use, but definitely not a necessity in a make up kit, My favourite are smoky storm and smouldering satin. They are available on a few different websites but I purchased mine straight from Stila Uk, their delivery was fast and came just 2 days after delivery, All in all these are a huge hit with me as they make eyeshadow so much easier and fun to do! They are definitely worth the hype! Until Next Time, Kayleigh ♥

Coconut oil is so diverse & it seems like the whole world is using it & for a good reason. Coconut oil has so many benefits it's a antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antifungal as well as being an excellent moisturiser, it's affordable and available everywhere! So here are my top tricks and uses for coconut oil!
1. Moisturiser - Just have it straight from the jar and smooth all over your skin - best done straight after a shower while your skin is still damp. - apply extra to any dry spots regularly. 2. Body Scrub - Simply add equal amounts of coconut oil and brown sugar and add some essential oils to the mix. Beat until the oil is softened and fluffy. Massage into your skin while in the shower and rinse off, it will leave a light layer of coconut oil over the skin which will keep it feeling soft. 3. Simple Scrub - for a simpler and quicker scrub simply add some coconut oil and sea salt together and again use in the shower. 4. Chapstick - just gently rub into your lips in small circular motions to soften and moisturise them. 5. Make Up Remover - Helps to remove dirt and pollution by massaging the oil into your skin any make up will just melt away and wipe right off including and stubborn mascara. 6. Deep hair conditioner - use it as a deep treatment apply it to the end of your hair and then use your fingers to distribute the rest over your hair, you can also massage into your scalp, For amazing results leave it on for as long as possible before washing off. 7. After Wax - Simply use it remove any left over wax. 8. Eczema & Psoriasis - Because of the anti-inflammatory properties in extra virgin coconut oil it can help to relieve affected areas by lightly applying 3-4 times a day. 9. Cuts & Scrapes - Because coconut oil forms a thin antiseptic and antibacterial layer that will protect the wound from and dirt or germs. It also helps to speed the healing process up by promoting collagen in your skin. So apply it over any small cuts, scrapes and it should help resist infects and heal faster. It also helps to reduce the chances of scarring. 10. Shaving Cream - Use coconut oil instead of shaving foam or cream for a closer shave, as it smooth's hair follicles. 11. Deep Hair Conditioner - You can use coconut oil as a deep conditioner just use a few tablespoons and massage from root to tip, leave it overnight for the best results. If you can't do overnight use the same application just wrap your head in a warm towel for a few hours. Shampoo your hair twice to make sure you remove any greasy feeling and it should feel silky smooth. 12. Gum removal - If you somehow manage to get gum in your hair then slather a generous amount of coconut oil on and leave for a few hours. Then the sticky stuff should just slide right off. These are just a few ways I have and do use coconut oil, there are many more things this versatile product - remember try and use organise extra virgin coconut oil . Until Next Time, Kayleigh ❤ Hey Lovelies, Now I am sure that you have seen the Nicole Guerriero pallet just about everywhere this month, but I had to get my hands on it and give it a review. Highlight is one of my favourite parts of make up and I love peachy tones so this was a no brainer for me to purchase! I purchased it straight from the Anastasia Beverly Hills website which has just recently launched here in the Uk. It cost £39 which to me is a reasonable price for the amount of product that you get. This pallet was designed by a Beauty YouTuber that has been around quite a while, Nicole Guerriero , who was actually one of the first youtubers I watched. This pallet is limited edition so if you are after one yourself I would grab it quickly before it's gone forever! You get six shades in the palette (6 x 0.16 oz/ 4.5 g) each. Kitty Kat – Pink with a platinum reflect Forever Young – Pink pearl with a silver reflect Daydream – Coral with a white gold reflect Forever Lit – Platinum with a lavender reflect Glo Getter – Champagne with a rose reflect 143 – Rose gold with a bronze reflect The pallet comes with a slip cover and both the cover and pallet have all the information on the back, It has a beautiful glitter effect and is very lightweight and travel friendly.
The highlighters themselves are highly pigmented and feel like butter. A little will go a long way. You will be able to use a small amount to create a natural glow or pack it on for a more blinding look. It feels buttery and applies like a dream. You can go in with just one shade or overlap colours. I apply my highlight with the Anastasia Beverly Hills A23 brush as it really packs the product on to the cheek to deliver blinding results! There was hardly any fall out from these bad boys and mainly it is not chalky ( I hate chalky highlighters ). I believe every skin tone will be able to use this glow kit as it has such a beautiful shade range, It really is a pallet for everyone , whether your new to make up or a hoard of highlight like myself, this is definitely one for the collection. Until Next Time, Kayleigh ♥ I may be a little late to the party with this company but my god these wipes are amazing!
Firstly the fragrance is extremely nice, I love the smell of coconut so I was bound to like them, however it is a fairly strong smell so it could put you off if your not into the coconut scent. These wipes leave my skin feeling refreshed and moisturised as well as hydrated. I often use them at the end of the day as the first part of my skin care regime to wipe away the days dirt. I also use them to remove make up and although they do remove the majority they can leave traces which is usually cleaned up with Micellar water which I use after. I love the packaging for these wipes, they look and feel like expensive wipes ( which I guess they are ) because of the plastic lid as well as sticker you remove when using them , the wipes are always fresh and moist. You can purchase these at places such as Asos , BeautyBay , Boots and Holland & Barrett. Over all I am a fan of these and would re-purchase, however I'm going to give a few of the other Yes To wipes a chance first before I settle on a favourite. I can't wait to give some of their other products a go and see what they are like so watch this space for some more Yes To reviews! Kayleigh ♡ So I am a huge anatomicals fan! I thought I would share with you a few of my favourite items by them, Anatomicals are definitely a unique brand from their humorous names, their affordable prices, their bright and colourful items. I am completely in love with company and their products, I cannot wait to try some more! So possibly my favourite product is their "not another rough day please" neroli body lotion - First of all I love packaging. It is a pump dispenser which I prefer as its more hygienic. You can also limit the amount of product with the pressure you use. I absolutely love the smell of this product. The lotion is slightly thicker but at the same time it doesn't feel heavy or thick, it isn't greasy and dries nicely. It moisturises my skin really well and I only need to apply it once. This is my favourite moisturiser - I think I have ever used. The Buff Stuff Citrus Scrub - This is a gentle scrub. I have sensitive skin but this didn't aggravate it at all. Really did clear away dead skin cells. You can also feel your skin becoming smoother and soft. Also makes you feel fresh and refreshed. Cruisin' For A Snoozing -I had been wanting to try a sleep balm for a little while as I suffer with sleep problems. This is in a small tin similar to Vaseline. I leave it in my bedside dresser that way it's right beside me if I need it. I rub it on my temples, on my wrists and sometimes on my neck. I wouldn't say that this is a miracle worker but it definitely relaxes me and helps me to settle down and drift off. This smells strongly of lavender which is obviously a relaxing smell. &Hawaii Five-Glow Tropical Hydrating Face Mask - This is a creamy face mask. This mask has hydrating coconut water, cleansing papaya and pineapple extract. The cocoa butter leaves you feeling moisturised and refreshed. It left my skin with a natural glow and feeling so soft.
Look, You’ve Got Chocolate All Over Your Face Anti-Stress Face Mask - This mask smells exactly like chocolate. This mask is calming, really helped me to relax. The Hottie Tottie Is Never Spotty - This is an anti blemish mask. Designed to help clear away blocked pores. To keep spots away. This has primrose oil in to keep inflammation down and is extremely soothing too. Get Outta My Face, Dirtball! Apricot face scrub - I found this a lot tougher on my skin, I would say that this isn't for sensitive skin types, We had enough to use on my partner as well and he really enjoyed it, It helped to clear his skin and it felt so soft afterwards. Grease Isn't The Word - This is defiantly for more oily skin tones, however I did use it on my t zone - meaning I got 2 uses out of it. It does exactly as it says and got rid of excess oil on the t zone. Farewell Scarlett Pimpher Hell - This left my skin feeling extremely clean. This was fairly drying and properly my least favourite out of the masks. All in all , I love most of these products. I think they are a fun brand. Skin care that works well , without breaking the bank. The names are fun, the products are great quality. I highly recommend finding a few of their products and giving them a go. You can buy Anitomicals at Asos, Superdrug & Amazon. Untill Next Time, Kayleigh 💕 This item is a must for every make up lovers collection. It contains a blusher, highlighter and a bronzer.I am a huge fan and think its worth the price at £34 - In the UK you can purchase Too Faced items at both Selfridges and Debenhams.
This item has such cute packaging both the sleeve and the tin. The packaging looks and feels expensive, the tin is heavy and well decorated. I love the little peach emoji. The product is very dense and to get any good product pay off you need to use a dense brush. My favourite is the highlighter. It has a nice firm texture and it can be applied as a gentle glow or you can build it up and create a blinding shimmering pop. The blush is a lovely pinky peach and can be built up to create any look you desire. The bronzer is quite subtle and can either be built up or applied over a darker bronzer. I wouldn't use this to contour as it is too sparkly and also isn't dark enough for my skin. This however wouldn't put me off buying it again. The smell is absolutely amazing, as soon as you open the tin the smell hits you. This pallet defiantly does what its meant too although I wouldn't recommend this for darker skin tones. It is perfect for pale to medium skin tones. Over all I love this product and the fact you have to be a little heavier handed to get a decent colour pay off doesn't bother me. I recommend you go and buy this before they are gone forever. Till Next Time, Kayleigh 💕 Wet n Wild recently launched new make up brushes which where cruelty free. I decided to go ahead and order a few to try out myself - I found the best place to buy them in the UK was Amazon.
Overall these brushes really aren't that bad. I have used them for a little while and I have been pleasantly surprised by how much I have liked them, Especially for their price. I got them all for between £3-5 each. My favourite are definitely the contour, blusher and powder brush. They have earned a spot next to my professional brushes and as great back up brushes. They are all so soft, they are easy to manipulate and use. They don't shed a lot of hairs which is a plus. Flat Top Brush - I tried this mainly to pack on my foundation, it worked well. it had good coverage but I just don't like applying foundation with brushes, I prefer my beautyblender and real technique sponges. Large Eyeshadow Brush - This is the perfect size for applying eyeshadow all over the lid. It is really easy to pack eyeshadow on. What more can you ask for? Contour Brush - This was hands down my favourite brush to use. It packs the colour on really well and it blends even better, If I didn't know any better I would think it was a high end brush. Small Stipple Brush - This brush is probably my least favourite, it wouldn't blend my make up just move it around and make it patchy. It was flimsy and very scratchy. I quite like the white and pink colour of them. I have cleaned them twice so far and both times they've gone straight back to white and pink. The handles are easy to clean. Until Next Time, Kayleigh 💋 So before we go ahead and figure out how to care for our skin, what products we need to try, what routines we need to get into, what tips and tricks will work for us aswell as skincare and make up products that will work best for us, we need to know exactly what we are dealing with. There are a few categories that can help us define our skin. Of course with skin being our biggest organ of our body, it can be complex and it won't always fit nicely into one definitive categories, but dont worry, with these guidelines you will be on your way to knowing more about your skin!
1. Wash your face - wash your face with a gentle cleanser and then pat the face dry. Remove any make up that you may be wearing. Cleaning away any oils and dirt that have built up during the day. This is giving your skin a fresh start, try not to over wash though. 2. Wait a while - wait around a hour after washing your face during this time your skin should return to it's normal state. Do not touch your face during this time. 3. Dab - Get yourself a tissue and paying extra attention to your "T-Zone" which is your nose and up across the top of your eyebrows you can also try any other areas that are problematic, remember you know your face better than anybody else. 4. Determine your skin type - Skin falls into 4 different categories ; Normal, Dry, Oily & Combination. Normal - Skin shows neither oily nor flaky areas. Skin should feel supple, smooth, even and balanced. Oily - You fall into this category if grease is found on the tissue. It is common for people with oily skin to have slightly larger pores and to acquire a shine throughout a normal day. Pores often get clogged up and congested. However oily skin often looks younger and more supple because the skin has more of it's own natural moisture. Dry - Skin may feel tight and show flakes of dead skin, dry skin is associated with small pores and often needs regular moisturising throughout the day. Dehydration, genetics and things like caffeine and alcohol are all leading causes of dry skin. Gentle Exfoliation with non-abrasive ingredients help to promote skin turnover without removing your skins natural oils which are vital in our acid mantle. Dry skin means your able to use oily products and serums. Combination - This is the most common skin type. It means it exhibits traits of 2 or more of the other skin types. Usually it shows the "T-Zone" to be oily but the rest of the face to either be normal or dry, or even a mixture of all 3 other skin types. If you notice 2 or more different textures on your face then its a sign that you are dealing with combination skin. 5. Knowing your skin - Each skin type has problem traits that you may need to consider alongside the skin type. Sensitive skin - If you have sensitive skin your face may react easily to regular skin products. Meaning your face may become irritated, red , itchy or even a rash could form. Sensitive skin can be challenging, you often need to spend a lot of time, money and effort on finding ingredients and products that don't cause any of those nasty side effects. With sensitive skin never try more than one new product at a time, give your body chance to take in that new product. It also means it's easier to find out what does and doesn't work for you. Sometimes it is a good idea to just do a patch test area, that way if you do react your limiting any potential reactions on the face, especially if you use it on a small area behind your ear. Most products do sensitive alternatives, or clearly label if it is sensitive friendly. Acne Prone - Acne is not just reserved for teenagers, you can still get pimples/acne at any age especially if you have oily skin. If you have this problem there are plenty of products available to help combat it! As well as this tissue test to determine which skin type you fall into, remember you can check your skin out in the mirror and do a visual assessment. Remember everybody's skin is different. These steps are just a few ways that may help you to identify which type your skin mostly fits into. So remember the best way to care for your skin is to find out what specific skin type you fit into and remember there are always other factors to consider such as seasonal weather, stress factors and so on. Keeping the health of your skin is important and remember to check in on your routine regularly to make sure it is still working for you or if you need to determine whether any adjustments need to be made. Remember to only try one new product at a time and to give it a fair chance of working use for a couple of weeks, unless you have any kind of reaction. Now that you have all the information you need to determine which skin type you are, you will be able to match products and treatments that are more suited to you. You can always go to a beauty therapist and they can do a skin assessment for you, they will also give you some more in depth knowledge of your skin type. Keep your eye's peeled for a "How to look after your skin" Catch you next time , Kayleigh ♡ |
