Hey Guys, Today's review is on Smashbox Photo Edit Eyeshadow Trio. I don't own a lot of Smashbox products but the ones I do own I love, I haven't come across a bad product by the brand yet. I got this gorgeous eyeshadow trio for my birthday earlier in May and I have been loving trying it out! You can get these trios from the Smashbox website and Boots for £20. As you all know I am a packaging whore, such a sucker for luxury packaging or something that's a little different. These trio's are part of the photo edit theme and look like a duplicate for a camera lens.. I had the trio called Holy Crop which contains a golden champagne shimmer called Loungerie, a copper red Outfoxed and a dark chocolate brown called Miss Chilli. Smashbox said this trio was dessert inspired. I love the combination of colours in this trio, they really compliment each other. You can create some gorgeous looks with these little palettes. They even have mini look books on the back of the palette. The formula for each shade was slightly different however all where incredibly smooth, buttery and very easy to work with. I experienced no fall out with any of the shades. A little really does go a long way so light taps are only needed. But let's jump into each individual shade; Loungerine This shade is a beautiful golden champagne with a golden pearl finish. This shade is my favourite in the trio. It's a really buttery texture which blends beautifully, it's pigmented with a gentle little sparkle. It does sheer out a little when you blend it out however it is buildable by adding an extra layer. Miss Chilli A dark chocolate brown with very slight sparkle but it functions more as a matte shadow.. The texture was ever so slightly dryer than the other two shades but only ever so slightly, I still wouldn't say it had any noticeable fall out, just the texture when applying the shade. It was still really blendable and has great staying power. A little really does go a long way. Outfoxed This is a gorgeous copper shade with warm red undertones. This shade applies really opaque and is extremely pigmented. When applied over primer it comes out extremely well. For a metallic finish it is so smooth and buttery, not gritty at all and it blends beautifully just like the other 2 shades. Final thoughts; I would give this a high 9/10 marking it down only because for £20 you aren't getting a lot of product, only 0.11oz of product and I think that for some people that may be a bit much, for me personally I would happily pay it. I think it's a fair price point for a premium brand. The quality definitely justifies the cost to me as well. They are some of the most pigmented eyeshadows I have tried in a long way. They blend so beautifully are and are so easy to work with. They would be perfect for newbies to make up with a look in each trio as they wouldn't be to intimidating, they're easy to work with. They'd also be great for MUA as they have a great variety of colours in the trio's the trio's are compact and easy to travel with, and the quality is amazing. There are so many shades that there is something for all skin tones and occasions. Plus if you're a make up collector or love eyeshadows these will make a great addition to the collection! All in all these are well worth getting & deserve more hype then they received! I hope you've enjoyed the review & Until Next Time,
