Hey Guys, Welcome to the second Favourite's & Fails of the year! I am quite excited for this one, I have tried lots of new products this month and there have definitely been some hits and misses! So make sure you check out down below what I was loving and what I would avoid! Product Of The Month This has been the easiest product I have ever picked as product of the month. Anastasia Beverly Hills X Amrezy Highlighter. This is available on Anastasia Beverly Hills Website UK for £29 and in my opinion is worth every penny! If you buy only one highlighter this year make sure it is this one! It's a gorgeous light gold that would suit all skin tones. It is truly blinding and gives you the most beautiful glow! Check out my full review here. 2. Jouer Cosmetics Blush Bouquet Dual Blush Palette. This is available from BeautyBay & Cult Beauty for between £25-28. I purchased Adore which is a warm dusty peach and a shimmering warm pale nude. This is highly pigmented and long lasting. Perfect to travel with and the packaging is absolutely beautiful, with a gorgeous floral print. 3. Benefit's BadGal BANG Mascara. You can purchase this from Benefit's website, Debenhams & Boots for £21.50, there is also a mini version, however it has been sold out most of the time since of release. This mascara promises 36 hours of wear which I'm not sure I agree with. I do however love how well it turns out, how well it lifts the lashes. It also lengthens and adds volume. I have incredibly straight lashes and so far for me the results are amazing! I love the blacker that black formula. This mascara gives you some serious lift, volume and length. Click here for my full review. 4. Nars Orgasm Blusher & Lipstick. This was part of their Christmas collection however the items are available individually from the Nars website. This was a mini set that cost £20. I have fallen in love with them especially the blush, this last month. It's a gorgeous coral/pink shade which is different for me. It gives me a gorgeous faint colour, which can be built up. It does have a small amount of glitter which I normally don't like in a blusher however it blends in well with your highlighter and gives you a gorgeous colour for winter months. The lipstick is a true match to the blusher and perfect for everyday use. 5. Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer This one is a oldie but a goodie. I recently fell back in love with smashbox's photo finish primer which you can get from both the Smashbox website and Boots. It retails at £15 for the travel size and £26 for the full size. Pores aren't one of my biggest issues however this primer does minimise them, evens out my skin tone, giving me a completely smooth canvas to apply my make up too. I do think this primer helps the longevity of my make up. A little really does go a long way with this product so for me, this primer is well worth it's price! 6. Real Techniques Brush Crush 305 This is a eyeshadow brush and it works so well, it picks up product really well. It blends like a dream and feels comfortable in the hand. 301 This is a foundation brush however I have been using it for baking and wiping away loose powder. It is so soft and works amazingly, it wipes excess powder away without effort. It's a versatile brush and can be used for many different things. I love real technique brushes and these are no exception. I love the glitter and the ombré that runs through the super soft bristles! Well worth their price, which ranges between £9.99 - £12.99 7. Freedom Make Up HD Eye Foils These where originally on sale for £5 but I purchased them when they where on sale for just £2.50! Such a bargain for something that preforms so well! They are extremely pigmented & blend out like a dream. These are a little hit and miss to find on Superdrug but definitely worth grabbing if you see them for sale! Disappointing Products First up we have the new sister to Benefits Pore fessional which is a cult classic for a reason - it works! You can purchase the new Pore fessional Pearl primer from Benefit's website, Boots & Cult for £27.50, you can also get the mini travel size for £10.50. Now it's not that this is an awful primer because it isn't. It does exactly the same as the original, it's pore minimising, oil controlling and gives you a smooth canvas to apply your foundation. It just doesn't brighten your skin like it claims, it gives a very ( and I mean very ) faint pearlescent glimmer, but it's so faint you can barely notice it. Which is why it's a bit of a flop for me, I'll be sticking to the original for sure! 2. Maybelline's Master Holographic Highlighter After falling in love with Maybelline's Master Chrome's gold highlighter I thought I would pick up another and give it a go & I wish I hadn't! This highlighter is a complete flop for me! I purchased this from Superdrug for £7.99. Not only is it far to light for my skin tone, it leaves a white cast over the skin, in certain lights it looks like I have flour on my face. It is extremely chunky and the formula is very dry compared to the master chrome's which was so buttery and soft. This is very chalky and has large glitter pieces which I am not a fan of. Doesn't stay on the skin very long at all, within an hour or so it had pretty much disappeared. I would avoid this like the plague, a huge flop for me. Let me know what products you have been loving or hating and maybe I will check them out! Also make sure you check out my social media channels for a giveaway! Until Next Time,

Hey Guys! I am so excited for today's review! As most of you know highlighter's are my favourite make up product, the favourite part of doing my make up! So I when I saw that Anastasia Beverly Hills was teaming up with a highlighting goddess Amrezy I had to get my hands on their highlighter! Anastasia Beverly Hills don't mess around when it comes to highlighter, with their glow kits, their illuminators and now this absolutely beautiful highlighter! This highlighter came out on February 14th and is limited edition. It retails for £29 and is available from Anastasia Beverly Hills website. From the moment you open this it screams high quality, the packaging is gorgeous, from the outer box and the actual component. It is black and has tiny dazzling gold stars. I love the matte black box it comes in & I love the way it is presented in beautiful waves. This highlighter is blindingly beautiful from the moment you open it! This highlighter is absolutely stunning on the cheekbone and inner corner on the eye. However I wanted to apply it all over the face! This highlighter is a gorgeous light gold and really complimented my skin. It brags to compliment all skin tones and I believe it would look beautiful from the palest of skin tones right through to the darkest. This highlighter is highly pigmented and really doesn't take much to give you truly blinding cheekbones! Go in sparingly and build it up to the blinding effect with little effort needed. The formula is so buttery and applies to the skin so smoothly, there is little to no fallout when picking the product up. I have worn this a few times now and it has always lasted, so I would say it is longwearing, it looked as stunning when I took it off as it did when I put it on. I have loved applying this with a damp beauty blender, it applies the highlighter like it is a second skin and really looks flawless, it doesn't show ant texture up and looks even more blinding than when it's applied with a brush. So I give this highlighter a full 10/10, it is without a doubt the most beautiful highlighter I have ever owned. I would even go as far as saying this is the perfect highlighter! It is stunning, so blinding, easy to apply, long lasting and looks perfect all day! I hope you've enjoyed my review and having a look at this beautiful highlighter! Until Next Time, Hey guys, Today's review is all about Benefit's BADgal BANG Mascara. As most of you know I have been on a ongoing search for "The One". I seem to find mascaras but constantly be looking for something better, so let's see if I have found the next big thing with Benefit's latest product launch. This mascara retails for £21.50 for the full size 0.3oz & £10.50 for the mini version at 0.14oz. You can pick it up from Benefit's website as well as Asos, Debenhams, Boots & loads more! Benefit have made some pretty bold claims with this mascara. It claims to last for 36 hours, it has a water resistant formula, smudge proof and contains a gravity defying formula with areo-particles - one of the lightest known materials derived from space technology to give a bigger impact. But does it deliver on any of its promises? I can tell you they where not lying about the formula, it is silky, it glides on very easily, it doesn't clog your lashes. I have extremely straight lashes, they lack anything that even resembles a curl! However this mascara gave it a beautiful uplifting curl, without even needing a eyelashes curler! (something that makes me love this mascara instantly!) I love the mascara wand, it seems to pick up the perfect amount of product, the wand is cone shaped and is packed with over 300 plastic bristles. One side is flat and the other is curved, which is perfect for getting right to the tip and pushing the lashes up with just the right amount of product. This mascara really provides some mega volume, it lengthens, it curls, it's a beautiful velvet feeling formula with jet black pigment. Everything you need in a mascara right? The only thing I don't agree with is the 36 hours claim, I mean not that I want to leave it on for that long but personally I think that it would start to flake and droop if you where wearing it for over 24 hours. If you would like me to try out with a 36 hour wear test, I can do that on Instagram , just let me know down below! I give this mascara an extremely high 9/10. The only thing that knocks its score down is that I don't feel like this is buildable,, anymore than 1 coat and I think your lashes would clump up, so be careful if you want to build up the volume. Everything else is bang on their claims and is so close to being perfect! It will definitely be part of my go to make up! I hope you've enjoyed my review and its helped you have a insight into Benefits BAGgal BANG Mascara. Until Next Tine, Hey Guys, Today's post is my January favourites. A whole month of 2018 has already past us by! Time moves so fast when you grow up. I have lots of favourites for you this month, some that where Christmas presents and some that where January buys. So let's jump straight in! Product Of The Month - Miss Dior Hair Mist. I love the smell of Miss Dior and the fact you can have it as a hair mist is amazing. You simply spray this over your hair when you've finished styling it. You only need 2-3 sprays. This gives you a strong enough scent that will last you a good few days, I waited to see how long it would last and left my hair for 5 days and you could still smell it as strong as when I sprayed it, so it's super longwearing without being over powering. You can purchase this from Dior, John Lewis, Debenhams as well as many more retailers. It is £34.50 for 35ml. Next up is Ragdale Hall Spa Express In Shower Body Moisturiser. This is a tome saving product, that if you have no time then you can use this as both a shower gel and in shower moisturiser. I love how moisturising this product is, my skin feels softer, hydrated & pampered after using this product. I follow it up with my moisturiser and it lasts all day! This is mainly available from Marks & Spencers and retails for £6 for 200ml of product. Third up is Glamglow Supermud Treatment. I know I have posted about this before but these last few weeks I have been loving the Supermud Treatment. I have been using it both as a anti-blemish treatment and as a full face mask. This mask is a miracle worker, it removes blemishes, minimises pores, cleans the skin and removes oil. This is available in both travel size (15g) for £16, Medium size for £42 (50g) and the full size for £59 (100g). Available from Glamglow , Boots & Debenhams as well as more online retailers. Next we have Tarte's Blush Palette from their holiday collection. Unfortunately this isn't available anymore so I don't want to go into to much detail. The packaging as always is on point, very colourful and catches your eye. It has some really gorgeous shades, they are all really pigmented and give great coverage which you can build up. This retailed for around £40. Next up we have Huda Beauty's Smokey Obsessions Palette. This palette is absolutely gorgeous! It is extremely pigmented, all formulas work amazingly, it blends beautifully and is very longwearing. The foil effect shadows steal the show, they work amazingly and are blinding! There are 9 shades altogether and I think it is well worth the price! I give it a full 10/10, This retails for £25 and is available from Cult Beauty, Selfridges & Harrods. Next up we have Rockateur by Benefit. This was one of the first high end products that I purchased as a teenager and I have recently fallen back in love with this blusher. It is a beautiful rose gold colour, it's highly pigmented, longwearing and looks beautiful. It's a great product that you know will always perform, a great starting product for someone getting into make up. This retails for around £24.50 from Benefit, John Lewis, Debenhams and a lot more retailers. Next we have a product which nearly got Product of the month. Urban Decay's X Kristen Leanne Beauty Beam. I am in love with this highlighting palette, I love all 3 shades, they all look beautiful on my olive skin tone. They are beautiful highlighters and are buildable to be absolutely blinding. It gives a gorgeous glow and doesn't show up texture at all. It retails for £22 from Urban Decay, John Lewis & Feel Unique. Click Here For My Full Review On This Product. This next product is just a quick mention because I have been loving it this month but it is limited edition. Jouer's Funfetti lip topper, this was made for the owner of Jouer's birthday. This lip topper can be used either on it's own or over the top of other lip products. It's weightless, isn't sticky and is infused with coconut. This retails for £13.50 and is available from BeautyBay. Last up we have another highlighter but this time it is Maybelline Master Chrome in shade in Gold. This is an amazing gold highlighter, it is more subtle but is buildable to be more intense. It's fairly long wearing and is perfect for that everyday glow. It is very reasonable at just £7.99 is available from many retailers such as Superdrug. So there you have it my favourites for the month of January. I really didn't have any fails for the month of January which is refreshing. I can't wait to see what make up will be out for Spring. I'm looking forward to February and the new Anastasia Beverly Hills collaboration and what else may be out there this month! Until Next Time, Hey Guys, I am so excited for today's post, my favourite make up item without a doubt is highlighters and I couldn't wait to get my hands on Urban Decay's Kristen Leanne Beauty Beam Highlighting Palette. It retails for £22 and is available from Urban Decay's website. I thought I would even the scales since my last post was a poor review. You can check out my last review here, all about their Meltdown Make Up Remover. First of all the packaging for this palette is really eye catching and fun. It's bright pink and in it's outer packaging really gleams under the light. This palette has 3 shades; The 1st is a rose gold with orange undertones, the 2nd is the lightest of the 3 and is a gorgeous light gold/white golden pearl which is a warm toned. The last of the 3 is a warm golden shade that looks almost peachy. Al 3 of these shades are highly pigmented, with extremely good coverage. The texture is extremely smooth and soft, almost feels like cream, it feels like butter. It applies well and blends out with little effort. You can really build up the coverage to something blinding. A really metallic sheen, with no glitter in sight which I like. You can wear these on their own or mix them together to create your own custom shades, which I absolutely love doing. This applies on the skin so smoothly you cant see any pores, it doesn't show any texture up. I think if your skin is light toned then the 2 outside shades may be a little 2 dark for you, if your dark toned then the middle one may look a little chalky. Therefor I would say this palette suits more medium skin tones. All 3 shades suit my medium olive skin tone. Above are 3 different looks all showcasing the highlighter and as you can see it gives a beautiful glow! I give this palette a 10/10. I love the packaging, the product itself is like butter, it applies beautifully and blends in like a dream.. It gives you a beautiful glow.. All 3 shades are suitable for my skin tone and it's well worth £22. This highlighter is a huge hit & part of my current rotation! I highly recommend this product! So what you waiting for go purchase this beauty! Until Next Time, Hey Guys,
Today's post is all about a make up remover that I purchased in the boxing day sales, as most of you know I am obsessed with Clinique's Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (Click here for the full review) and haven't really tried many other make up removers this past year. So I thought let's give Urban Decay's Meltdown Make up Remover - Cleansing Oil stick a go! I purchased this from their website for £14, normal retail price is £20. I was excited to give this ago with their claims to remove even the most stubborn waterproof make up, with their cleansing oil stick being not just powerful by gentle on your skin with nourishing & hydrating ingredients. The cleansing stick is a three phased oil based remover that transforms from a balm to liquid oil to microfoam, which gently dissolves even the must stubborn of make up. On the website it states that it is safe to use on eye's but that everyone's skin is different. I used this for the first time on a fairly normal everyday make up look, nothing to stubborn or waterproof, just a gentle eye look with full face of natural glam. It removed my foundation and face make up with ease and without trouble. However when it came to my eye make up, it instantly caused irritation, now am very gentle when removing eye make up as I have sensitive skin. Within seconds my eyes started to sting and I really didn't get a large amount in the eye. I cant describe how badly this made my eye sting, I tried to rinse it all off immediately with water, I did this several times, my eyes where extremely blood shut & kept streaming for nearly a hour after. I checked back to the mirror after a few hours after using the cleansing stick, my eyes where still read, streaming and even had discharge. My eyelids where red raw and even had a small amount of blood. The next day my eyes where extremely sore and irritated. They where not as blood shot but still looked irritated. The eyelid was sore, had small scabs and felt extremely tight. So my final thoughts on Urban Decay's Cleansing Oil Stick, I will not be using this product again, even on my skin. It removed my face make up fairly well, my eye make up still had mascara left over. My face didn't feel nourished or hydrated if anything it was quite drying yet greasy at the same time! However the effects it had on my eye are not worth the hassle of the product. I am day 3 after use and my eyes are still irritated and my eyelids are, I would even go as far as saying, painful! I give this product a 1/10 just for the fact it removed my facial make up. I will attach the photo of my eyelids after use down below! Until Next Time, Hey Guys,
So it's a new year and everyone will be asking you what your New Years resolution is, most of us will be making resolutions to try and better ourselves, the only thing is that most of us wont make it through January even if our intentions are good. So why not choose some smaller beauty resolutions that are easier to keep! Like these 5. 1. Clean your make up brushes regularly. If your like me the thought of cleaning all of your make up brushes can be quite daunting, but if we don't keep our brushes clean and we let bacteria build up then it can have disastrous effects for our skin! So find yourself a brush cleaner that you like and make sure it becomes a habit to keep those brushes clean! 2. Don't neglect your lips. We often forget about our lips when we do our skincare routines but if your like me and the winter plays havoc with your lips making the dry or flaky, then you need to take action. I purchased a lip scrub by Jeffree Star and have made it part of my routine to use the scrub every few days, as well as keeping them moisturised. You could even try a lip mask like Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask available for around £15. 3. Take time to wash your face at night. Washing your face at night will make the world of difference. It is especially important for people who wear make up to make sure they wash their face thoroughly. Make sure you find a cleanser that is right for your skin type and take the time to clean your face of make up, dead skin and any daily build up. 4. Rotate your mascara every 3-4 months. We are all guilty of holding on to our favourite mascara for as long as we can. But this can cause major bacteria build up and result in us getting a nasty eye infection. So make it a resolution to change your mascara regularly - maybe this can be a chance for you to try some new mascaras out! 5. Have more fun with make up. Everybody takes make up so seriously these days but I doont know about you, but I got into make up because I love it, I loved playing with it as a teenagers and experimenting, I became a make up artist because I love being creative and how make up is a one size fits all, no matter your age, your gender, your size. So try a different lip colour, experiment with eyeshadow. Stop worrying about the rules and enjoy yourself, after all make up is supposed to be fun!! Until Next Time, Hey Guys, Today's post is one I toyed with posting for a while. I wanted to show you guys some of the amazing products that I was given for Christmas and that I purchased in the sales, but I don't want to come across as boasting or as thought I am showing off. This post is purely to show you guys some of the products that will be coming up in some of my reviews. To give you a little run down of some of the products. It lifts my lashes while lengthening them. It coats the lashes really well without any fall out. 11. Juvia's Place Nubian Eyeshadow Palette Possibly the most pigmented eyeshadow palette I have ever used.. The shades are gorgeous. It lends beautifully, works well with other eyeshadows, Doesn't smudge or drop down, it has amazing staying power and is long lasting! Check my full review out here. I hope you've enjoyed looking at some of my 2017 make up favourites! I will be following this post with my favourite skincare of 2017. So keep a look out over the next few days for that! I also want to take this opportunity to thank you for your support throughout 2017 and wish you a happy new year! Until Next Time, Hey Guys, Today's review is on a holiday set from Jouer Cosmetics. I was so excited when I saw Jouer's Christmas collection and their bundles. I am a huge fan of their products but came to the party a little late and never got their original highlighters. So when I saw that 2 of their bundles where sets of 3 highlighters, I had to get the first set which had the original 3 shades! So without further a do lets jump into the review! When I opened this I was overwhelmed at how beautiful the packaging was. It is a yellowy creamy colour with gold spots all over. It was a fairly big package & it felt nice and expensive. Perfect if you where giving it as a gift. So in this set you get 3 travel size highlighters in the shades; Citrine - A shimmering gold. Topaz - A Shimmering peachy gold. Rose Quartz - A shimmering champagne pink. These are the original 3 shades that Jouer bought out in their powder highlight collection. Each shade is 2g and is the perfect size for traveling and trialling. I have tried all 3 and they are all beautiful shades and look beautiful both on their own or mixed together. I apply with a dense highlighting brush to give a nice intense look. Applying it over the cheekbones, bridge of the nose and under the eyebrows.. Not only are they beautiful, they are long wearing, looking perfect after 8 or more hours of wear. It is buildable so you can go from a beautifully subtle shimmer to a real strobe effect. They are extremely soft and creamy texture, almost buttery, they don't have to much fall out compared to other highlighters. They are super fine and don't show pores up at all, it truly is the perfect highlighters! I have since purchased the full size versions! You can purchases this set from BeautyBay , Cult Beauty, It retails for a very reasonable £35. I give this product a full 10/10 it really is a perfect product. I love everything from the outer packaging, which is beautiful and feels luxurious to the inner packaging of gold mirror. The product itself is truly beautiful, I love that it is buildable and stays put through out the whole day without worry, it doesn't show any pores and I always get compliments when I wear these highlighters! I highlight recommend these to anyone who loves highlighters or that loves collection pieces. Until Next Time, Hey Guys, I can't believe it's almost Christmas, this year has absolutely flown by. I am a huge fan of all things Christmas & I love buying gifts for people! So I thought I would put together a post of 20 items all for under £20! A good old fashioned stocking filler! I hope you have enjoyed taking a look at some of the great gift sets out there for Christmas. I have definitely seen a few items perfect for family and friends! Until Next Time, Hey Guys, Today's review is a quick one on the Instagram famous Bilou Shower Foam! This company seemed to be everywhere on Instagram with lots of funky scents to try out. I decided to try the Coco Cocktail - a tropical scent with coconut and vanilla, an extremely sweet scent. This foam really does expand and you get a lot in the can! Making the £3.99 worth the price. My personal opinion on the product, is that it really is a creamy foam, it expands greatly, you get a lot of product for your money. I love the coconut and vanilla scent. However it really doesn't last long, when washed off it completely disappears and you can no longer smell it. I don't really like foam based products, this one does feel nice to wash with, I just am not too keen that the scent completely washes away and vanishes unlike shower gels. So unfortunately this product doesn't score high for me, with just a 3/10. What about you have you tried it? It seemed to be all over Instagram! Until Next Time, Hey Guys, Today's review is a 6 month check in on my hair while using the chewable Hairburst Vitamins. These retail for £19.99 for a months supply of 60, you take 2 a day. They taste mostly of strawberry and are just like having 2 small sweets. Sometimes you can find them for half price on sites like Holland & Barrett & BeautyBay. You can check my first review on Hairburst here. I love the packaging of Hairburst. The pastel colours, the clear instructions, how it grabs your attention. Before I started taking these tablets I was having a hard time with my hair. I suffer from Crohns disease, that teamed with the medication and surgeries was leaving me with clumps of hair falling out. My hair was getting thinner, it lacked shine and was looking extremely unhealthy. After 3 months I did a review, I showed you how my hair started to regain its health. The clumps started to get smaller till eventually they have now settled to just the odd strands, which everyone gets when you have long hair. My hair's general health has improved greatly. It is thicker, stronger and has a beautiful shine to it. My hair has now got to the stage where it is extremely healthy. The appearance is gorgeous ( thanks to my amazing hairdresser aswell ) but it's shiny , it's strong, it's full of moisture, thicker and longer! It has less tangles when wet, it stays smoother and softer for longer. I don't need to wash my hair so often, I'm not sure if that's the vitamins or my general care for my hair but everything has improved 10X over all thanks to these wonderful chewable vitamins. My hair is still growing a lot faster than it used to, I'm having less breakage, my hair is fully nourished and full of moisture, it deals with direct heat a lot better. I will continue to use these as I believe it is maintaining my hair at a really healthy level as well as helping it grow at a really nice rate. I highly recommend these to people who are not just looking to grow their hair but also want to improve the general health of their hair. I give them a full 10/10 I think they are worth their price and if your feeling a little bit sceptical please look past that and give them a go, you won't regret it! Until Next Time, Hey Guys, Today's review is on a selection of Sephora masks, from face masks to foot masks! I'm extremely lucky to have an amazing friend who recently went to America and bought back some Sephora goodies to try out. So let's jump straight into the first product & review. The first mask is the Sephora Pink Clay Mask. This is probably my favourite out of all of the ones I tried. I got 6 uses out of this clay mask. I love the packaging, it feels nice to be able to put the little lid back on after use and for it to stay sanitary. My face after the first use felt soft, it appeared clearer, my skin tone was much more even & looked radiant. After using it for a few weeks my face looked brighter, clearer. The skins tone had improved and felt absolutely amazing. My skin reflected the improvement when wearing make up, the foundation applied like a dream and looked perfect. The scent was pleasant but not to over powering. I have sensitive skin but this didn't irritate me at all and was quite calming. I left it on for the full 15 minutes each time and really enjoyed the experience. I give this a full 9/10. The next that I tried was the Pomegranate eye mask. I love these type of masks, I find them relaxing but I don't always find that they work well. However this mask is probably the best that I have tried so far. I suffer from dark circles from being quite poorly, having bad sleep and so on. You leave this mask on for 15 minutes however I left them a little longer and relaxed. When removing them my eyes looked far less puffy, more energized and the scent is very pleasant. The results actually lasted around 48 hours and left my eyes looking far less puffy which was a huge hit for me. It didn't really affect my skin tone or colour but was still a huge hit for me & I highly recommend and give a good 7/10. Next we have The Lavender Foot Mask. This was probably my least favourite of the ones I tried, the scent is extremely over powering like most lavender products, which I'm not to keen on. I have size 8 feet ( large I know ) and when I started to fit them they split up the back and became awkward to put on the foot, however once I had them in place and left them for a while. They where extremely soothing and my feet after using this mask was extremely smooth, both the heels and the top of the foot. I massaged in the extra serum and it was quite relaxing. I give this a 5/10 it was a good product, I just wasn't keen on the scent and the bootie itself split which was slightly annoying but the over all outcome was good. Last up we have Aloe Vera Hand Mask. This is the first hand mask I have tried so I don't have anything to compare it to but I really enjoyed using this. I left it on for 15 minutes.. The scent was a more gentle scent then some of the other masks I had tried. My hands straight after use felt so moisturised, soft and intensely nourished. I have extremely soft hands anyway so this just helped to keep them beautifully moisturised. They felt light when then came out of the mask like air, it felt very relaxing and it definitely helped to keep my hands moisturised going into the winter. I highly recommend these and give them a 8/10 just because I haven't tried any others but would definitely re purchase this item! I hope you've enjoyed my hits and misses within the Sephora mask collection. I really enjoyed trying out some different products and experiencing some beauty items from America. I highly recommend giving some of their masks a go, they seem to be great quality for a really reasonable price! Until Next Time , Hey Guys, Today's post is a quick review on a new face mask that I tried earlier in the week, the Soap & Glory Speed Plump Miracle Moisture Mask available from Boots for £3.50. This mask is fairly straight forward to apply. Ensure your face is clean and dry before removing the mask from the outer packaging. You then remove a film and place the mask which is gel onto the face and sit back and relax for 20-30 minutes. When you reach 30 minutes remove the mask and either wipe away excess serum or massage into the face.
The scent on this mask was orange, although very gentle and sweet it wasn't to over powering. The mask came in 2 pieces so that it can fit perfectly to the face. I liked that this mask is gel and not a sheet, I feel that it fits better and stays on the face for the full time. After around 15 minutes my skin started to sting slightly, bearing in mind that I have sensitive skin, I checked to see if it said anything about sensitive skin on the packaging but it didn't. Within a few minutes of it starting to sting it got worse and I had to remove the mask around 15 minutes into the treatment. My skin was extremely red, blotchy and carried on stinging for another hour. I didn't see any benefits from this mask, whether that was from removing it to early or because the mask wasn't a hit I'm not sure? So although I cannot give you a full review, I can tell you that if you have sensitive skin you may want to give this mask a miss? My skin stayed red for a few hours and stung for a good hour after removing the mask and that was with washing the excess serum off. So for me this mask scores a 0/10 and I wont be repurchasing or recommending it. Until Next Time, Hey Guys, I cant believe we are heading in to the end of the year! This year has gone so fast and I have loved some of the make up releases we have had so far and now we are heading into the Holidays and some pretty amazing products! Let's jump into my October favourites & Fails Product Of The Month This months product of the month is Too Faced's Sweetie Pie Bronzer. retailing for £25 from Toofaced.com. This gives you such a gorgeous shade every time you use it, you're able to customised the shade you want with this & it's surprising how many different looks you can create. For my full review click here. Next we have a nail varnish from Barry M in the shade Fashion Icon - This retails for just £2.99 from Superdrug. This shade is a beautiful glittered purple. It is so eye catching and sparkles in the light. It actually made No.2 in my current favourite nail varnishes, check that post out here. At no 3 we have a Sephora's own product. Their Pomegranate eye mask. This retails for $5 and is available from Sephora only. Just like most eye masks, you fit it under your eyes sit back and relax. The scent was gentle but pleasant. After use my under eyes looked slightly less fatigued and it felt extremely smooth and hydrated. I highly recommend this mask! Next up is another mask this is a full sheet mask by Tony Moly I'm Real Avocado. This is available from a variety of places, I purchased this from TK Maxx in store at a bargain price of £2.99, their usually price is around £5 from places like CultBeauty. This mask left my skin feeling so soft and hydrated, my make up applied like a dream the next day and the effects lasted for a good few days! For a full review of this mask and 2 others from the I'm Real collection, click here. Next up is a body product by Ted Baker, their Body Soufflé in the blush pink collection. This collection is available at Boots and the Body Soufflé retails for £11. I absolutely love the full collection, it smells absolutely gorgeous., it has a soft floral scent with Neroli in. I love the packaging, it matches the collections name of blush pink and feels heavy and luxurious. The product itself keeps my body hydrated and smelling gorgeous all day! I highly recommend giving this a go! The next product I have been loving for quite a while now, following the hype of The Ordinary I decided to try more of their products and I have fallen in love with their Hyaluronic Acid. This product can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water and really helps to keep my face hydrated. Since I have been using this my face feels hydrated for longer, it is smoother than it's ever been and it looks perfectly clear. I'm a huge fan of this extra skincare step that I have started doing. I highly recommend trying this product and giving your skin some extra hydration especially as we head into winter and having the heating on, drying your face out. The last product I have been loving is from Dior and their Rouge Liquid Lipstick. These are slightly pricier at £26.50 but it is well worth the price! The shade I bought is called 515 Scandalous Metal and it has been my perfect autumnal shade, I love the metallic lip, it's a different look for me but one I have been loving. The formula is so soft , you can barely tell you have anything on and it doesn't dry your lips out which is a huge plus for me! To find out more about Dior, my initial thoughts on this product and a few more click here. I hope you've enjoyed seeing some of the products that I have been loving this month! I cant wait to see what products will be launching going into the Holiday season. Until Next Time, Hey Guys, Today's post is on the ever growing popularity of Korean beauty & skincare, this is a review on one the most popular brands Tony Moly and their range of I'm real sheet masks. I purchased 3 of their masks to try out and review. I purchased the I'm Real Rice sheet mask for Clear skin. I'm Real Avocado for nutrition & I'm Real Aloe Vera sheet mask for moisturising. I found them in store at TK Maxx for a bargain price of £2.99 each usually they retail for around £5 from places such as BeautyBay, House Of Fraser & Cult Beauty, plus more. They all had the same easy to follow application steps. Simply open the package, apply to a clean, dry face, make sure its covering the face and leavel for 20-30 minutes. First I tried the I'm Real Rice Mask For Clear Skin, It has a thick cotton mask. Which is thickly covered in serum. The next thing I noticed as I was fitting the mask was the scent, it is quite a strong smell but fairly pleasant. It had a very cooling sensation and was very refreshing. I have sensitive skin so I'm usually very wary of how to mask feels and how my skin looks after, this mask didn't irritate my skin at all. To mask got noticeably drier towards the end of the 30 minutes. My skin straight after use felt extremely smooth & look visibly clearer, I don't suffer with problematic skin but it did clear up some the small blemishes I did have, it looked toned, radiant and happier. This lasted a few days and I really felt my skin looked happier. I give the mask about a 7/10. It felt nice and refreshing, it gave me radiant skin that lasted a few days. The second mask I tried was the I'm Real Avocado sheet mask for clear skin. This mask was exactly the same as the first when opening it, it was covered in the serum and felt extremely moisturising. The serum really does soak into the skin. It was again really cooling and refreshing, ideal to sit back and relax with, this one didn't dry as much as the first one, so I was able to massage the excess serum into the face. My skin afterwards stayed slightly tacky, however it looked refreshed, noticeably brighter. My skin felt so soft for days afterwards and my make up the next day applied like a dream and my foundation sat perfectly. I preferred this mask to the first, it smelt pleasant , it was refreshing, and I felt it relaxing. My skin looked bright and refreshed. The results lasted a few days again like the first one. My skin was really soft and felt amazing. I loved how the make up applied in the days following the mask. I give this mask a 8/10 with the only negative being the skin stayed tacky for a while after use. The 3rd and last one I tried was I'm Real Aloe Vera mask for moisturising. It was the same as the first 2 I tried, a thick cotton mask covered in serum. This mask had a much heavier scent and was quite heavy hitting. Again like the last 2 it was cooling and refreshing, I left it on for the full 30 minutes. This one compared to the others dried up very quickly. I found I had too try and massage the mask to move the serum around the face best I could. I didn't notice any immediate differences in my skin when removing the mask, again like the 2nd one it left my face quite tacky. The next morning however I noticed my skin looked nourished, moisturised and well hydrated. I loved how soft my face felt not just the next day but for a good few days. This mask I would give 6/10. Although I loved the affect the mask ad o my skin the next day. The mask dried out very quick, the scent was quite strong for me and wasn't as pleasant as the others. There are a lot of similarities between all 3 of the masks. They where all refreshing and cooling. My skin after all 3 felt extremely smooth, hydrated, radiant and brighter. The effects with each lasted a few days. My make up after all 3 applied well and looked perfected the next day especially the foundation. I will defiantly be repurchasing these and trying the rest of the line out. There are a lot more than the 3 I tried. They are definitely up there as some of my favourite sheet masks that I have tried. I highly recommend trying a few especially if you can find them for a bargain in TK Maxx! Until Next Time, Hey Guys, Today's post is just a quick one on my favourite nail polishes at the moment! I always have acrylics on my fingernails so nail polish is reserved for my toe nails! Even in winter I cant stand nails without polish on! So below is my top 5 favourite nail varnishes which all happened to be Barry M Polishes! So keep on reading if you want to see what made the top 5! At No 5 we have a Molten Metal in the shade Bronze Bae which is the perfect fall nail varnish. This is a almost chrome look with a foil finish. You can build this nail varnish up to give a gorgeous bronzed nail or just use one coat for a more sheer look. At No 4 we have a shade that's fairly new under the Liquid Chrome collection it's a pink chrome colour named Razzle Dazzle. This is again a metallic chrome foil finish which looks very glamourous! In at the middle we have the classic red which I love on the toe nails, it's been a favourite of mine for years. This shade is simply named Bright Red under the Classic collection. I mean who doesn't love a red nail now and then! At No 2 and the last 2 where really close! They both come from the Glitterati Collection at No 2 we have the shade Fashion Icon which is a gorgeous purple glitter, after a few coats of this your toe nails really do sparkle. It is a slightly gloopier nail varnish and needs extra care when being applied. At No 1 and my favourite at the moment is another from the Glitterati Collection in the shade Socialite which is a gorgeous pink glitter. This one does take quite a few coats to get the desired look of full sparkle. One coat doesn't give you a lot so it definitely needs building up. But I am in love with the finished effect and is what I am currently wearing. I hope you have enjoyed having a look through my top 5 nail varnishes and what I am loving at the moment. Until Next Time, Hey Guys, Today's post is a first impression/review of Too Faced Sweetie Pie Bronzer. I have used this item a few times and so far I am completely in love with this product. My friend bought this item back from America for me, where she purchased it from Sephora for $30 which works out at £22 roughly. The packaging is absolutely beautiful. The outer packaging is a matte box and feels lovely. The product itself is a gorgeous peach colour and feels sturdy and well made. When you open the bronzer up it really does look like a pie with gorgeous different toned lattices, you have a pop of peach for brightness, golden tan and a darker tan to add dimension to the skin. There is a golden shimmer which is an overspray so after the first use it is gone, which I'm glad about because I'm not keen on sparkly bronzers. After the overspray is gone it leaves you with a gorgeous satin bronzer, giving your skin a beautifully sun kissed face. This product again has a gorgeous scent, a beautiful peach scent mixed with a sweet fig cream which is known to be hydrating and means the bronzer will sit more comfortably. Now for how it performs. The formula feels absolutely beautiful. It feels so silky smooth and it blends effortlessly on the skin. The brush picks up the product so well that it can be buildable or you can tap it off and have a more subtle look. You can swirl your brush around and customise the depth of the bronzer, which I love. It works really well on my olive/medium skin tone. I love that their is a slight peach tone as it gives you a really natural looking bronzed look, like I have been in the sun and caught a gorgeous tan. So not only is this a beautiful product and gives you a beautiful look,it lasts all day, flawlessly. It wears really well and doesn't budge. I give this a full 10/10 and I am highly recommend this bronzer, its definitely one of the best bronzers I have ever used! I'm not sure if it would work on darker skin, it definitely suits more of medium skin tone. Until Next Time, Hey Guys! Today's review is on Soap & Glory's new skincare in particular their Puffy Eye Attack Under Eye Brightening Hydrogel Patches. I purchased this from Boots for £3.50 This mask is meant to revitalise tired and puffy under eyes. Help them to look more awake, to minimise any puffiness and help the skin look brighter. To use this you simply ensure your skin is clean and dry. Open the package and place the gel patches underneath the eye. Remove the second film and pat the patches down and into a comfortable position. Then sit back and let the patches work for 20-30 minutes before removing the patches and gently massage any remaining serum into the skin. So after 30 minutes of sitting back and relaxing I removed the patches and gently massaged the remaining serum on my under eye area. The mask feels very cooling and refreshing when placed on the face. It has a very faint scent which is pleasant but not over powering. It felt relaxing when placed under the eye, it was comfortable and didn't cause any problems. The results however where very underwhelming. I didn't expect miracles but my eyes really didn't look any different at all, they where still slightly puffy and my eye still looked tired and it didn't remove any fine lines under the eye. The only positive was that it felt nice, it was a good reason too sit back and relax for half an hour and my under eye did feel moisturised and hydrated. Personally I wouldn't recommend this product as I really don't think that it does enough. I don't have particularly puffy eyes but every now and then when I'm poorly my eyes do get bloodshot, tired and the under eyes can get some pretty dark circles. So I waited until I was feeling fairly tired and had been a little poorly however it really didn't make any difference. I give this product a 2/10 because I liked the fun packaging and it gave a small amount of moisture to the under eyes. Until Next Time, Hey Girls, It's October! O My God! I love autumn and the months leading up to Christmas! It's come around so quickly. But I am so excited to see all of the Holiday launches, the different collections and grabbing some gorgeous products! So let's jump straight in to my September favourite's! Product of the month! This months product of the month is again a mascara! This mascara is absolutely amazing! It really gives you some added length almost gives the appearance of false lashes & it costs just £3.30! Click here for my full review. Second up we have Real Techniques - MultiTech Large Point Make Up Brush. This brush is amazing, it is so soft, it can be used in so many different ways, to contour, highlight, bronzing and blusher. I mainly use it with bronzing and contouring to add dimension to the face and to warm the face up. I love the handle and that its different, yet nice to grip. This is one of the best brushes I have tried in ages. Next we have one of my favourite products to have been launched this year! It's the Fenty Beauty By Rihanna and the Pro Filter Soft Matte Longwear Foundation. This foundation is medium coverage however is buildable to full. It gives the most gorgeous coverage and finish. For my full review click here. I never thought I would like a concealer as much as my Tarte Shapetape but this one is a definite contender for top spot! Diorskin Forever Undercoverage is creamy and very full coverage. Since being poorly I suffer with extremely dark under eyes and this completely covers them. It doesn't crease, it is longwearing and although full coverage it doesn't look cakey ever. For my full coverage check out my review on Dior's make up here. Next up is Skinfood's Black Sugar Mask Wash Off which is reviewed early this week. Click here for the full review. This mask gives you extremely smooth skin, which looks clear and blemish free. Make up applies like a dream after using this and it's a really quick and easy mask to use. My last favourite of the month is Juvia's Place The Nubian Palette. This palette has the most gorgeous shades and I love how autumnal it is. The shimmers in this palette are beautiful. The eyeshadows are creamy and so pigmented. They are easy to use, they blend like a dream and I can't wait to get my hands on more of their products! For my full review on the palette click here. That is it for the month of September, I didn't have any fails this month, just lots of hits which is nice. I can't wait to see what will be in my next favourites and fails with all of the Holiday collections coming out soon! Until Next Time, Hey Guys. Today's post is all about Skinfood and some of their black sugar masks. I purchased three different variations. The Black Sugar Wash Off Mask, Black Sugar Honey Wash Off Mask & Black Sugar Strawberry Wash Off Mask. There are a few different sites you can purchase Skinfood from such as Boots, Ulta and Korean Kosmetics. Skinfood has been going since 1957. They are a Korean based company, that have rooted themselves in food. They believe the minerals and vitamins in food will help to create healthy, beautiful skin. First up we have Black Sugar Strawberry Wash Off Mask, Which retails for around £10-14. This scrub smells amazing, very strongly scented with strawberry which you'd expect but it could put you off if you aren't into strong scents. This scrub really did exfoliate my skin nicely, you could feel the sugar working as you circulated the product around without it scratching. It left my skin feeling smooth, fresh and clean. It was really refreshing and gentle on my sensitive skin. Next we have the Black Sugar Honey Wash Off Mask. This again retails for around £10-14. This one feels extremely smooth when applied and is a lot stickier due to the honey. I realised while using this product that I do not like the scent of Honey, like the strawberry wash off mask the scent is very strong. This did pretty much the same as the strawberry wash off mask, my skin felt soft & smooth. My skin looked clear and blemish free. It did however take a long time to remove and left my skin feeling quite tacky which I didn't like. Personally for me I wouldn't repurchase this one as I wasn't keen on the scent and when you need to leave it on for 15 minutes it gets a bit much! Last we have the Original Black Sugar Wash Off Mask. This one is slightly more abrasive, you can feel the granules working against your skin, which I love as you can really feel the product working. This one was by far my favourite, it had just a gentle sweet aroma which wasn't over whelming. My skin after using this product felt amazing, so soft and smooth. My face looked clear, blemish free, My skin looks and feels hydrated even thought we have just scrubbed the skin with sugar. My skin looked so much better the following days and make up applied like a dream, the foundation looked at one with my skin - which was perfect! So my final thoughts. I would 100% repurchase the Black Sugar Mask Wash Off, it was my favourite out of the 3 products. I would not re-purchase the Honey Black Sugar Mask mainly for the fact I don't like how strong the honey scent is and how sticky it made my face. The Strawberry Black Sugar Mask was good but I think I would stick with the original. But these masks are well worth trying, they come in even more variations and all do a great job, I think it just comes down to personal preference with the scents. My skin felt and looked better after all of these face masks. So I definitely recommend finding one you like the sound of and giving it ago. Until Next Time, Hey Guys! Today's review is all about my mission to find that perfect mascara. I feel like you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince & just as I thought it couldn't get any better than L'Oréal Lash Paradise (Click Here For My Full Review) I read a article on Facebook, all about a mascara that is taking the world by storm! So naturally I had to purchase it! The mascara is name Lash Princess and is by the company Essence which is sold at Wilko's in the U.K. This mascara retails for £3.30 which if it works is amazing! Now as much as I love a good deal, I am a huge sucker for glossy, high quality packaging. This doesn't score high with me on packaging, it looks quite childish & something you may find at Claire's. That being said if it works, it works right? The wand to the mascara is similar to most mascara wands and is nothing special to write home about. When I opened the mascara I was almost ready to call it a bust as nothing seemed special about it, so how on earth was it getting such great results. I decided to try it anyway and oh my god am I glad I did! This is some magical mascara right here. I have straight eyelashes that are of medium length,, however when I used this mascara, it lengthes my eyelashes, it gives them volume, it truly is the best mascara I have ever used & that is saying something. You can build this mascara up, I have only done up to 3 layers as I felt it didn't need anymore than that. The length was long enough to almost touch my eyebrows! When applying you need to make sure you gently wiggle as you pull through the eyelashes otherwise they can slightly clump. Nothing that would put me off the mascara though. Now although the results are amazing, because my eyelashes are so straight I definitely need to curl them before applying the mascara, although I recommend that to anyone who has straight lashes before they apply their mascara. It is longwearing, I have worn it all day with absolutely no flakes or smudging, It didn't run when I had watery eyes or budge when I was standing over a hot cooker. When I wore this I got several compliments and even my partner noticed how much fuller and longer my lashes where. This gets a full 10/10 for me, I don't think there is any way to improve on this perfection & I still can't believe that you get change from a fiver! Just remember to curl your lashes before and wiggle the brush through the lashes for the perfect result! Until Next Time, Hey guys. Today's review is a quick review on Biobelle and 2 of their face masks. I purchased these from BeautyBay. I have Beauty Secret Botanic Fibre Face Mask and Glam Hydrogel Black Lace Facial Mask. The masks retail for between £4-5. First we have Beauty Secret Botanic Fibre Face Mask. This was £4. This has a strong pomegranate scent but smells pleasant enough. I am a huge fan of sheet masks, I love how easy they are to use & that you can have great results from something so easy. This mask hydrated my face, it helped reduce any fine lines slightly. It almost looked like it plumped my skin up slightly. My skin felt smooth and hydrated. Next we have Glam Hydrogel Black Lace Facial Mask. I loved the lace in this mask and how different it looked. This mask left my skin feeling really soft, it looked clear and it improved the tone on my face. It was soothing and relaxing. My skin looked nigh on perfect and my make up applied nicely the next day. Again easy to use with it being a sheet mask, however this is in 2 pieces, the bottom part of the chin and lips and then the second over the top part of the face, this made it easier to customise and fit exactly to the face. Overall I give both of these masks a 7/10 they where enjoyable, easy and fun to use but other than some hydration and smooth skin it isn't one of my favourite brands or masks to use.
