Today's review is on an exciting eyeshadow palette. When this palette became available on Beautybay I had to have it! I have wanted them since Nikkie Tutorials snapped about them. So when they became available on Beautybay I decided to go for the Nubian Palette because I preferred the colour scheme in this, it just spoke to me more than the others. This retails for £30 which I think is a reasonable price. The shades in this palette are the creamiest and smoothest shadows I have ever tried. The shades aren't too powdery and feel silky smooth to touch. Both the shimmer and matte shadows perform incredibly. The colour payoff is out of the world. They are so pigmented and really do look beautiful. The shimmers steal the show for me, when used with Mac's Fix Plus Spray they really do pop. The shadows blend effortlessly, they are easy to use and there are 12 shades included in this palette, of which you can create some gorgeous eye looks with gorgeous shimmer moments. These eyeshadows not only look amazing but have amazing staying power, they don't crease. The packaging is travel friendly. The lid is magnetized. I also love that the whole theme is set around Nubians which is mainly known as Egypt now. I am a huge fan of Egypt and Egyptian history and their make up. There is 2 downsides to the palette both of which are minor. The first is that the palette doesn't have a mirror and the second is that there is no shade names on the front of the palette. Both of which are minor hang ups for me and wouldn't influence my decision to purchase the palette. I love how versatile this palette is. You can create soft day looks and then you can amp it up for a full glam look. Again making it perfect for travelling with. I have been using the gorgeous champagne gold shade from the top row as a highlighter because there are no rules when it comes to make up! Overall I give this palette a solid 9/10. I love everything from the packing to the shades, the colour payoff, the staying power. The price seems reasonable especially when you've experienced how amazing the shadows are. I highly recommend this palette and think it's a great piece to have as part of a collection. I would put this palette up there as one of my favourite palettes of all time! It would suit all skin tones and has plenty of colour options for different day and night time looks. Until Next Time,

Hey Guys! I am so excited about today's post! It's all about Rhianna's brand new company Fenty! I purchased one of their foundations the day of the launch. I managed to purchase the correct shade from for my skin tone from Harvey Nichols which is the Uk stockist, having all of the collection available online. It retails for £26 which is fairly typical for a luxury brand. I purchased the Pro Filter Soft Matte Longwear Foundation. I was shade 200 which is the first shade under the medium collection. Rhianna launched an amazing 40 shades for the foundation, she wanted to fill the void in the industry when it came too gaps for woman of certain shades, races and undertones. Wanting for everyone too feel included in her range. Rhianna herself said it was essential "that women everywhere would be included". I can honestly say that over the past few days of trying this foundation out. I have absolutely loved wearing it, had a lot of compliments and can't wait to keep on using this product. The packaging for this product is beautiful. The outer box was stylish and looked high quality. Then you open it up and the bottle of foundation feels luxurious. It is glass and feels heavy. The glass is frosty with Fenty Beauty written down the length of the bottle. It just screams luxury and I love when a product feels heavy and expensive. Now for my review on the product and how it preforms. This foundation is honestly one of the best foundations I have ever tried! Bold statement right!? I used different tools to apply it on different days and can honestly say that no matter what you use to apply it your skin looks airbrushed. I personally preferred using my Beauty Blender just because that is my preferred way of applying make up. The foundation is quick at drying down, so don't dot the whole of your face and try to work around to all of the points, just try doing half and half so you don't get areas where it has stuck to the skin where you haven't got around to it before it dried. It blends out easily and is so creamy and soft. This is medium to full coverage, which I love. I only need to apply one layer to have that flawless effect & it even covered my dark under eyes better than I expected. This is a longwearing foundation & it really does go the distance. On the days I have tested it has lasted way past 8 hours, it's endured heat and still not budged. It has looked just as perfect at the end of the day. It looks fresh & full of life still with no budging. All of my other products applied beautiful over the top, from my concealer to blusher, it just gave you the perfect canvas for the rest of your make up. This foundation actually locks down onto your skin and sets itself. It dries quickly and doesn't feel tacky at all. Some people may not like this, but I thought it was great! I hate feeling like my skin is tacky. Over all I give this foundation a huge 10/10 and that still doesn't feel like enough! I can't recommend this foundation enough! It truly does give you the most beautiful finish and flawless appearance. Your make up sits beautifully on top and gives you those great make up days!! So what are you waiting for go and pick yours up from Harvey Nichols now! Until Next Time, Hey Guys! Today is the second part to the Dior masterclass event & it's all about the make up! So let's just straight in! We had a look at some of the new Autumn products as well as some classics and best sellers. Below are some of my favourites & some of the products I purchased, with a full review! First up we have Diorskin Forever Perfect Mousse. This retails for £32 and is available at different department stores. This is an amazing foundation that gives a beautiful finish. Your pores are refined, blurs and gives you the perfect matte finish. It is lightweight and longwearing with up to 16 hours of wear. So if your looking for a new foundation especially if you suffer from oily skin then this foundation is for you! Next up is a product which launched for Autumn 2017 and is limited edition - Metalizer. This is available in 6 shades and retails for £17. My favourite shade was 528 Platine Fusion, however all shades where beautiful especially the bronze! This gives intense metal shine which can be used on the eyes and lips. I even used a small amount as a highlighter and it looked beautiful! Another of Dior's new products is their Double Rouge lipsticks. In a single application this lipstick gives you an ombré effect with highly pigmented matte outer colour and a metallic centre. Giving you two of the biggest trends in 1 lipstick with the metallic and ombré effect! From true reds to deep purple with a golden centre. This are comfortable to wear and very lightweight. Next up we have a product that recently launched called Rouge Dior Liquid Lipstick. This retails for £26.50 and is available in 3 different effects; matte, metal and satin. I got to play with all 3 different finishes and they are all an amazing quality. There are some really beautiful shades, their nudes are beautiful! I am able to give you a more in-depth review as I purchased one. I purchased 515 a beautiful bronze metallic colour These liquid lips are one of the best formulas I have tried, they are so comfortable to wear and don't dry my lips at all or cause any cracking and discomfort. Even after taking the product off my lips feel conditioned and soft. They are an intense colour and so pigmented, they are extremely longwearing and really do stand the test of time, I have worn it for over 6 hours and it looked just as perfect as when I applied it. The applicator is smaller but I don't mind it, it allows you to be precise with your application. As with all Dior products I love the packaging, it feels expensive and luxurious. I cant wait to get some more shades! I highly recommended this if your looking for a new liquid lipstick or just wanting to treat yourself! You wont regret it.. Another product which is new for Fall 2017 is Diorblush Colour & Light Limited Edition. This is the first blush and highlighter stick from Dior, this is a cream product which blends easily. It revives colour and helps to sculpt and contour as well as luminizing the skin. This is really easy to use and the colours are gorgeous. I did find the contouring side quite dark even for my medium skin. However the blush one was beautiful and the highlight was a very subtle colour. Next is probably my favourite product I have bought in a while so again I'll be able to give you a more in-depth review. This time we are going to be talking about Dior's new concealer - Diorskin Forever Undercover. This retails for £32.50 for each stick. This is without a doubt the most pigmented concealer I have ever tried. It covers my dark circles under my eyes with no problem.. If you have particularly dark circles or acne you can put the concealer on before foundation and then again after for maximum coverage. Although this is full coverage it isn't to thick, it doesn't crease and it is really long lasting, It even survived me having tears without budging! It really does give me the perfect camouflage when I have particularly bad under eyes. You can also go 2 shades up from your colour and use it to contour your face.. It blends easily, it looks best and is easiest to apply with a beauty blender or similar sponge. This could be my new favourite concealer taking over from Tarte's Shapetape! Last and by no means least is probably my 2nd favourite product of the week and that is, Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer Powder. This retails for £39.50 and is available in 4 different shades, I opted for shade 02 which is a pink shade. This comes with a cute pouch to keep it safe and a kabuki brush also, which is extremely soft, however I find it slightly too large for highlighting the face and have found it much more useful for bronzing. The packaging of this product is absolutely gorgeous. I love the cushioned effect on the top of the compact. I love silver and the mirror in the lid is one of the best I have seen when included in a compact, so clear and good quality. Again this item feels heavy and luxurious and looks beautiful on my dressing table. The product itself is a blinding highlight, especially if applied with Anastasia Beverly Hills A23 brush which I usually dampen with fix plus from Mac this really picks the product up and deposits it on to the check, giving you a truly blinding highlight. It is buildable and doesn't show up pores or texture on my face, It was lightweight and didn't look cakey, it has long staying power and looks just as blinding 8 hours down the line. A truly beautiful highlighter with no flaws what so ever. A huge 10/10 from me and I cant wait to get the rest of the line. I have to admit that after spending time using their make up and seeing the wonderful different products, I am a huge Dior fan! I can't wait to see what they come out with for Christmas 2017. I highly recommend this company for amazing customer service and high quality products. Their products scream luxury and deliver on all promises made. There really isn't any disappointing products that I have come across yet. Make sure you check their product out, If you live in Cornwall be sure to pop into House Of Fraser and have Sophie match your foundation or just pick up a gift for yourself or loved ones! Be sure to keep a look out for their Christmas lines coming soon! Until Next Time, Hey Guys! I am so excited about todays post! It is all about a Dior Masterclass event that I attended last week at the House Of Fraser with the lovely Dior Make Up Artist Sophie, who organised the event. It took place behind the scenes in a conference room which Sophie had decorated with Dior. including make up stands and products. Sophie welcomed us with a selection of drinks and nibbles. Before we settled down to play with make up and look at some of the newer releases, we first learnt a little about the history of Dior and of Christian Dior himself. I loved learning all about how the make up line came about and how it's expanded over the last 70 yeaars. We even had a chance to smell the original Miss Dior which came out on the 1st of December 1947. Next Sophie talked us through some of Dior's best sellers while passing them around and letting us play with them before going on to new releases including the new Autumn collection of Dior Rouge Liquid Lipstick. We then got to play around with all the products ourselves, apply them, create our own looks & just have a good nosey! I thought next I would show you some of the items we went through, what my favourites where & some of the items I may have bought! First up we talked through their fragrances. We learnt about Miss Dior & how Christian Dior pumped over 2 litres off the product at one of his fashion shows! I never knew this & thought that it was a unique way to launch a product especially back in the 1940's! We also learnt that Dior own their own land over in France and they grow their own ingredients for their perfume! There is a lot of detail that you wouldn't think of that goes into Dior products. They have stayed true to their roots even in the 21st century. Miss Dior - This perfume makes you fall head over heels in love with it. As soon as I smelt it, I knew it was the fragrance I wanted to wear on my wedding day. Because not only does it come in the form of perfume, but you can get shower gel, hair mist and body cream. Perfect for your big day! Miss Dior is a gorgeous scent which has staying power. I can spray this in the morning and I can still smell it by the evening. It even lasts on my clothes till laundry day! This perfume has many different notes in which make it a gorgeous feminine scent. You can smell the different roses, the vanilla and patchouli. This is one of my all time favourite perfumes. The hair mist is the same gorgeous scent & I am in love with this product. I sprayed it on Thursday and left my hair on purpose for a few days and come Saturday I could still smell it. When I moved my hair, brushed my hair even turned my head you could smell it. It was just as strong when I washed it Saturday night as when it was sprayed Thursday. An absolute must for my wedding day. I also had chance to try their Fresh body cream - this cream is beautiful, it was rich in scent. It melted into my skin, leaving it feeling extremely soft and fragranced without leaving any greasy film being left behind. This teamed up with the perfume really leaves a gorgeous scent behind. They have many different scents, some are variations of Miss Dior such as; Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming. This smells similar to the original with it being a floral scent, featuring the 2 different roses which is strengthened by it's white musk base and peonies. Pictures are from Dior.com That concludes the first part of this post .. The 2nd part with all the make up I tried and purchased with full reviews will be up at the weekend! Until Then, Hey Guys! I cannot believe we are in September already, it's the end of summer and I cannot wait for Autumn & Winter! Bring on cold nights with blankets and hot chocolate! I have also started to see sneak peaks of Holiday 2017 products and gifts & it's got me very excited for Christmas! Anyway back to August, as most of you know I had surgery at the start of the month and unfortunately suffered an internal bleed and was quite poorly. I talk a little more about this next week in my From The Blogger Series over on my lifestyle tab! But because of the surgery I didn't get to try much new make up, but instead focussed on skincare and pampering myself. Also as my blog keeps growing and evolving, I will keep changing little bits, like from now on I want to include a product of the month, something I have been loving throughout that month and thought that this was a good way to show which ever product it is off a little. So without further ado lets jump in! Product Of The Month L'Oréal Lash Paradise! So although I haven't been wearing make up a lot which I have, I have been loving this! I have even been using the mascara on it's own with a fresh face. This mascara really does steal the show, it lengthens, adds volume and there is no clumping even when you layer up! Click Here For My Full Review! 2. Milani Harmony Blush Palette.. Where do I start with this blusher? I LOVE it! It was in place to be product of the month until the L'Oréal Lash Paradise became available. This blush is a gorgeous cool pink tone. Whether you use them altogether or one at a time, the outcome is always gorgeous.. It is more of a subtle blusher which I do prefer, however it is also buildable. This was £16 from Beautybay.com there is several different shades to chose from.. This is probably one of my favourite purchases of the year. 3. Anatomicals Face Masks I was lucky enough to have these sent to me from Anatomicals & I absolutely loved using them & have carried on using them. I have since been out and purchased them all for myself so I can continue to use them and keep them as a permanent part of my skincare routine. Everyone of the masks left my skin smooth, hydrated and left my skin looking clear. None of them irritated my sensitive skin! Read My Full Review Here. 4. Rimmel Shimmer Brick 02 I purchased this from Superdrug for £5.99. This is a beautiful bronzer with a lighter strip at the top which makes for a gorgeous subtle highlighter. It is highly pigmented so go in with a light hand. It is cool toned so don't apply to much as it can look a little muddy. Apply the perfect amount and it looks gorgeous, especially going into your highlight, it blends easily and when set gives a gorgeous summery look. 5. Palmers Shea Formula Hand Cream. This product is available at different stores. I purchased this from Superdrug for just £2.49 which is an absolutely bargain! This hand cream makes my hands even softer than normal. I love the smell of the cream, it hydrates my hands and keeps my hands from going dry, without making them greasy. I love putting this on before bed, coating my hands in a good layer for it to soak in and then the next day my hands feel great! 6. GlamGlow's Supermud Clearing Treatment. This is hands down my favourite mask & Glamglow is definitely become one of my favourite brands over the past year. This mask makes my skin look almost perfect. It get rid of all the oil and sebum on the face, it minimises my pores ( not that they are noticeable anyway ). It breaks down any bacteria on the skin. You can see the mask going to work as it dries it shows you the charcoal pulling the oil out. It smells amazing, a mixture between eucalyptus and peppermint. Click Here For My Full Review. 7. GlamGlow's Glowsetter Make Up Setting Spray. Next we have another product from GlamGlow. I have had this product for a little while but in August I really put it to work. This sets my make up amazingly, it helps to blend all products to look perfect on the skin. It smells gorgeous, and it refreshes you as it feels cooling.. It is great to have in your handbag as it freshens your face and helps refresh the make up too. Click Here For My Full Review. 8. L'Oréal Elvive Clay Mask. Although I picked ths up by accident, I did decide to give it a go. I don't really suffer with oily roots, but I thought I would test it out, so after surgery I couldn't get wet for a little while so I plaited my hair and left it for a few days. I used this before shampoo as instructed, you simply apply to your roots, leave it for a while and then rinse off before applying your shampoo. After my shower and my hair dried it looked so shiny, felt very soft and in the following days it felt like it stayed cleaner for longer which I absolutely love! I hate washing my hair to often as I like to try and look after it. Il definitely be repurchasing this whenever I need my hair to go that little bit longer between washes! 9. Skinfood Coconut Sheet Mask. I have been loving this brand for a few years now after finding it on a make up artists Instagram account and just having to try it! I have been a major fan every since. This mask was so relaxing, easy to apply like most sheet masks, just fit it to the face, sit back and relax. I love the smell of coconut, it wasn't to strong that it was over powering just a gentle scent. The mask left my face hydrated, soft and I had a radiant glow. 10. Oh K Sleep Mask. So this is the second time I have featured this mask in my favourites and for a good reason - it is amazing!! I use this 2-3 times a week, I apply it before bed, when I feel like my skin needs a little extra hydration. It works it's magic overnight to give your face intense moisture. My skin always looks clear, hydrated and fresh. It gives it a healthy glow and my make up applies like a dream after using this mask the night before. Click Here For My Full Review On Sleep Masks! Fails 1. Zoeva Rose Gold Palette. I purchased this palette a little while ago now and I have been trying and trying to love it but I just cant! It is awful. The highlight is just a white powder that looks ridiculous on my medium skin tone, the other 2 shades just don't turn up, there is hardly any pigmentation, they don't blend well and I just have given up trying to use it! So that concludes my August Favourites & Fails! Let me know what products you have been loving and maybe I'll check it out! Until Next Time, Hey Guys, Today's review is also a little sneak peak at Urban Decays Troublemaker mascara.. This launches in September on Urban Decay. It will retail for £19.50. This mascara claims to make your lashes, super fat, super long and sex proof - it will hold up in hot and heavy situations. They've tested it themselves! The brush for this mascara has different length bristles which grab hold of your lashes and curls them as it coats them in their new formula! Creating super fat, super long and separated lashes. The brush really does grab all your lashes no matter the length, while it's coating them it also fans them out. It gets even the small lashes and coats them in a super pigmented black coat. Just one coat really does make a huge difference to my lashes, they get longer, thicker and stronger and even managed to curl my annoyingly straight lashes! They look fanned out and fluttery with no clumping at all. I went back in with a 2nd coat and can honestly say my lashes looked the longest they ever have. They still didn't clump, it just added more volume and length. I highly recommend going to get this mascara! This will be a permanent part of my make up kit from now! The results are just as amazing as they claim to be! In fact I would say it has taken over my L'Oréal Lash Paradise (Click here for my full review) for my number 1 spot! This really is worth the money and I give it a 10/10. There really is no negatives. So go grab yours when they are released later this month! Until Next Time, Hey Guys! Today's review is a slightly shorter one, on a lip scrub by the company called Frank Body. I purchased this from BeautyBay for £8.95 for 15ml. I love their packaging. The outer packaging is simple but effective. The pot itself is simple yet sleek. It is a slim pot but the diameter of the pot is rather large. This product is an all natural buffing lip scrub. It's key ingredients are Ground Robusta coffee and raw sugar, coffee seed oil, macadamia oil and beeswax. These ingredients cover everything from your exfoliate to hydration and conditioning to make sure that this scrub is the best you can get to condition your lips. The paste of this scrub is gritty with coffee bits and sugar as you would expect. When you first apply this to your lips it grips well and isn't to messy. It stays where you place it and then your able to work it over your lips either with your finger or by placing your lips together. It feels gritty but then again it's meant to, as you gently buff your lips it doesn't feel uncomfortable or too scratchy it feels surprisingly gentle. I usually buff away with the scrub for around 2 minutes to make sure that I have gone over every part of the lips several times. This product is completely edible so after you are done, you can go ahead and lick this product straight off your lips. This isn't for me, so I just take a wet cloth and make sure I wipe away all excess product. Because the coffee and sugar granules are mixed with macadamia oil and conditioning beeswax so your lips still feel extremely hydrated after use and this helps to contribute to the final finish of soft, supple and moisturised. The only thing that is a personal preference is that this product has confirmed my dislike for coffee, and because the main part of the scrub is coffee I don't think I will be repurchasing. However if your a lover of coffee or looking for a great scrub then this is definitely one to try. It works extremely well, it removed dead skin, it buffs the lips gently into a smooth and slightly plumped pout. Applying a lip balm afterwards will also help make sure that your lips are fully hydrated. This scrub gets a 7/10 purely for the smell and taste not being my cup of tea or should I say coffee? Until Next Time. Hey Guys! Today we are here to review some of Anatomicals face masks. I was lucky enough to have these sent to me by Anatomicals themselves. Whilst I received these for free, I have not been paid to talk about them & all opinions shared are that of my own. If you don't want to read a sponsored posts that's fine but you'll be missing out on all the tea! I have been a huge fan of Anatomicals for a good old while now. Having tried a good few of their products, with some making it to my favourites and holy grails! I even did a dedicated post to the company back when I first started my blog. Click here to give it a read. The first item I tried was their Apricot scrub named "Get Outta My Face Dirtball". The first thing that hits you is the scent and it smells so sweet and I love it, it reminds me summer. The consistency is fairly thick but when applied to damp skin, it creams up nicely and decent size granules. You use this in small circular motions around the face, you can feel the granules exfoliating the skin, it doesn't feel uncomfortable but you can feel that it is fairly gritty and it feels like it's working which I love, I hate having scrubs that you can barely feel and doesn't feel like they're working. I have actually purchased this so that I could continue using this, I have been using it just 2 a week because I have sensitive skin. I got a full 3 uses out of just 1 sachet and in most Anatomical packs you get 3 masks. This does make my face slightly red for a little while but that is just due to my sensitive skin! The results are amazing both immediately and after continued use. I have fairly good skin anyway but when I use this, I have no texture, my skin looks clearer and feels so smooth. My skin also look healthy and fresh. So I am a huge fan of this product and give it a 8/10 just because it can cause a little irritation and redness after use, but nothing that would put me of using! Next up we have my favourite mask that Anatomicals sent over. The purifying charcoal face mask called "No Breakouts, It's Alcatraz For Spots". I applied this on clean dry skin as instructed, I applied an even thick layer avoiding the eyes. I left it on for around 10 minutes until it was pretty much dry. It removed easily with a warm cloth. My first reaction was Wow! My skin after using this just once was amazing! As I have said before I have pretty good skin anyway suffering from just a few blemishes. My skin straight away looked clear, fresh and slightly matte. I feel like it removed all oil and grime from the face.I have completely fallen in love with this mask and the results it gives me. I had enough left from using it for my partner, when we removed it from his skin it confirmed how much I love this mask! It helped to clear his blemishes and area's of congested skin. It also helped to remove some of his blackheads. This face mask is available both on its own and in a pack of 3. This mask gets a huge 10/10 from me & it will definitely be becoming a permanent part of my skincare routine. The third face mask I tried was the anti blemish "The Hottie Tottie Is Never Spotty" This mask smelt amazing. I applied this one again on clean dry skin, left it to dry, which took just over 10 minutes and removed very easily with a warm cloth. I noticed through trying these that the masks were always easy to remove with a warm cloth. There are some amazing ingredients within this face mask; Kaolin clay which draws out impurities, White Tea Tree oil which is a natural antiseptic and helps to fight spots. You have Sage oil which is soothing and Evening Primrose Oil which balances the skin while helping you to relax. This mask not only helped my skin feel smooth but it left my complexion visibly more even and brighter. I really enjoyed how relaxing this mask made me feel, mainly down to the gorgeous Evening Primrose Oil which you can smell although not over powering. This mask again gets full marks from me a full 10/10 and I just loved the different I saw when using this mask. The last face mask that I tried out is a skin boosting honey face mask named "That's What We Can Well Stung". I again applied it evenly on freshly cleaned face that was dry. It took between 5-10 minutes to dry which it states on the sachet. This mask is extremely nourishing and my face after using this was extremely smooth and hydrated. The only thing about this mask is the strong scent of honey, which isn't my favourite unfortunately, But that is just a personal preference. The actual mask preforms extremely well and the benefits of this mask are amazing. My skin not only felt smooth and hydrated but it also looked matte and you could tell any excess oil had been absorbed. I would give this mask a 6/10 just because I find the scent hard to cope with. However that doesn't take away from the fact that it is an amazing mask and if you like the scent of honey then this mask is for you! So my last thoughts. I am an even bigger fan of Anatomicals! Their products have some amazing results. My skin after trying these products feels amazing, the softest it ever has and looks amazing, completion is clear, my pores are smaller and my blemishes are less and my make up has been applying like a dream! I highly recommend their products, they are available to purchase from; Fragrance Direct, Cloud10Beauty, Asos, Superdrug and many more. Where a variety of their products are for sale including these face masks which are available as part of packs and individually. I hope you've enjoyed my review on these amazing face masks, let me know if you've tried any of their products and what your views are? Until Next Time, Hey Guys, Today's review is slightly different. I am a lover of high end make up and decided recently to branch out and try some more high street make up. So I thought why not buy some Primark make up and see if it is any good and if it is even worth it's cheap price tag! So I purchased a few different items and game them all a try. So as we go down through the products I thought I would give them a small review and score before giving you my final thoughts. First up we have a contour kit, which contains 3 shades. I can honestly say that unfortunately this is one of the worst contour kits I have come across! The contour shade is extremely muddy, the face powder was like white talc and the highlight was more of a pink shade. The formula is awful and very dry and it had no staying power. I luckily tested this while staying around the house, it had no staying power, it broke up on my skin and looked like I had covered my face in talc! This product gets a 0/10 - avoid this product! Secondly we have their lipstick crayon in the shade Mushroom. This product was on sale for 50p but was it even worth that? In this case, Yes! I love the shade, it has a gorgeous tone. It applied easily, it was very smooth and covered in one coat. It had a good pigment, the only downfall is that it didn't have much staying power. It get's a 7/10. Next we have a blusher. It retails for £1.50 and I purchased the shade Taboo. It is a beautiful subtle coral shade. The formula isn't to dry and there isn't much fall out when you pick the product up. It is a more subtle blush which I prefer however you can build it up for more coverage.. Again the only downfall with the blusher was that the staying power wasn't very good and it only lasted a few hours before nearly disappearing completely. Therefore I give it a score of 5/10. Next we have their Mattifying Blotting Paper. You get 50 sheets for £1. I don't suffer with oily skin but I have tried these throughout the summer on both myself and family members. The results varied each time. When using these, there seemed to always be evidence of make up on the paper, however it didn't seem to damage the make up to badly but it also didn't really do much to help either. Personally I would bother with these. I don't tend to get oily anyway so for me these are a waste of money. I also wouldn't want to risk ruining any make up if out for the day. These get a 3/10 and are neither here nor there really. We have their setting spray next. It cost £2 which if it works would be a bargain! But unfornately this product is a complete bust! This spray smells like hairspray, very strong cheap hairspray. It get's in your mouth and tastes horrible. It did nothing to my make up and didn't help the longevity of it. All it did was make my face tacky and managed to get everywhere including my hair, making that extremely sticky also. This product gets a 0/10 from me. : Last up we have my favourite product that I tested. Their Mascara which retails for just £1 and comes in a variety of colours, I picked up the black one. Now this mascara is by no means up to the standards of L'Oréal Lash Paradise standard. ( Check my review out here ) However it does coat your lashes beautifully, giving it a little length. There was no clumps and it lasted fairly well, however after about 6/7 hours you do get a few specks fall off but nothing awful. It is a soft mascara and perfect for those more natural make up days. A complete bargain for its price & a possible repurchase of mine. I give this product a 8/10. Overall Primark's make up line is like most of their things and is very hit and miss. I think you have to be willing to try out their products to find those 1 or 2 gems of which their definitely are some and then chalk the rest up to a loss if they don't work. I would say that for me, I am not a fan in general but it has taught me that not all make up needs to be high end to work. But as for Primark, is it worth its price tag? I would say yes, some items are worth giving a go and seeing if it works. I would say take it as you find it, you may find some flops and you may find some amazing products, you just have to be willing to give everything a go. You never know they may work for you and without breaking the bank! Let me know if you have any favourite's from Primark of if you have tried it and like me think it's a bit of a flop? Some may appear in a few posts. Let me know your thoughts on any of these products or if you have any products you want me to try out and review for you. Until Next Time, Hey Guys Today's review is on one of my favourite companies GlamGlow & their Supermud clearing treatment Mud mask. I first purchased the smaller travel size as I am still trying them all out. But I have since ordered the larger jar as both myself and my partner are loving this treatment! The travel jar retails for £16 for 15g and the larger jar retails for £39 for 50g of product. Although these treatments are slightly pricey - they really are worth their money in my opinion. We got over 5 treatments from the travel jar & it definitely is small enough to travel with and take with you to give your skin that boast if your travelling or so on. I love the smell of this mask, it has a strong eucalyptus smell, but it reminds me of the mask and how well it preforms. I use a mask brush to apply a thin layer to clean skin. Leave it on for 5-20 minutes. Then remove with water. ( which can be the tricky part & takes a good few minutes with warm water to rinse the mask off.) I use this treatment just twice a week as I found if I used it anymore than twice my skin felt slightly dry. This mask dries down and as it does tiny dots of oil show through on the side of my nose as the activated charcoal drinks them up. It breaks down any build up of sebum and bacteria that may be on the face. This mask, my well be my favourite mask that I have ever tried. I don't suffer with problematic skin, it is fairly normal yet sensitive. But I have never suffered from breakouts, spots or oily skin. However I still noticed a massive difference when I use this mask. When I use this mask my skin feels absolutely amazing. I noticed a difference the first time I used it. Any tiny blackheads are gone, there is no oil, my skin is matte & feels so soft & smooth. All blemishes are gone and my skin looks completely clear. I give this mask a full 10/10 the only thing that may put people off is this price. But then I would suggest getting the travel size jar to make sure it's a treatment that you enjoy and works for you. I highly recommend this treatment! Until Next Time, Hey Guys, Today's post is a bit of a different one. As most of you know I went for surgery this week, but unfornately it didn't go well & I ended up quite poorly.. But I thought I would do a new series on my blog, a kind of "What's In" with the first being What's In My Over Night Hospital Bag! So even though I have been quite poorly I still wanted some of my favourite products with me and to try and keep up with some of my skincare so that my skin didn't suffer at all. First up in my overnight bag we have some dry shampoo! I purchased this full size Batiste from Asda for £2.90. Although I always French braid my hair, the last thing you want is any oily roots! I love the smell of the tropical scent and Batiste soaks up all the oil without leaving a white cast all over the hair! Check back soon for a post comparing some high end dry shampoo goes head to head with some more budget friendly options. Second up we have my favourite Micellar water. I love using this after I have washed my face as an extra step, it is amazing at going that extra bit and really cleansing your face and neck. I find it very soothing and a nice little extra. Using it in hospital is a great way to keep your face clean and cool! Plus how cute is this small bottle from B&M just £1 for 125ml of product! Third up we have my favourite sleep mask at the moment by Oh K for just £4 from Beautybay for 20ml of product. It says 5-6 uses but I can definitely get around 10 uses out of this, applying generous layer 2-3 times a week. This always leaves my skin feeling hydrated, moisturised, smooth and my make up always applies beautifully the day after use. I bought this with me because it is so easy to use and the benefits are amazing! I have definitely noticed an improvement in my skin since using sleep masks! Next up we have my favourite body lotion of all time by one of my favourite brands of all time Anatomicals! This lotion is full sized at 250ml but it's well worth the space it takes up. This body lotion is absolutely beautiful, it smells divine and it leaves my skin so smooth for up to 24 hours. Check out my review on this product as part of post on Anatomicals. Next we have my favourite hand cream by the brand L'occitane this is the Shea Butter at 20%. I purchased this one in store at Marks & Spencers for £8, you get 30mls of product, perfect for an overnight bag or travelling with. These hand creams go along way, you don't need to use a lot to benefit from them. Anybody who knows me knowns,my hands are extremely soft! This hand cream just keeps them that way, it keeps them protected and well nourished. The scent isn't over powering but is faint and very pleasant. Now we have a company that has taken the internet by storm and made it into my July favourites. The Ordinary & their Natural Moisturizing Factors+HA. I purchased this from TheOrdinary.com for £4.90 for 30ml which is a perfect size for putting into your washbag. You can also purchase The Ordinary from Beautybay, Cult Beauty & Asos among other places. I have been using this for a while and I absolutely love it! It has become a vital part of my skincare routine & I am looking forward to trying some more of their range! Check out my full review here! Last up we have some travel size shampoo, I don't see the point in travel size shampoo or conditioner usually as my hair is so long that it will only do a wash at the most. But this was on sale and I thought it was better to be prepared and have something there to wash my hair with rather than nothing. You can purchase Aussie products at most highstreet shops and supermarkets such as Boots, Superdrug, Asda & many more! I hope you enjoyed this slightly different post, if you did make sure you give me a share & subscribe to my blog! I will be carrying this series of blog posts on in the future with categories such "What's in my holiday make up bag" & "What's in my Handbag" featuring many different products! I thought this would be a good post to pop up while I'm in hospital, as it's current with what is going on in my life at the moment! But Until Next Time, Hey Guys Today's review is on one of my favourite companies GlamGlow & their Supermud clearing treatment Mud mask. I first purchased the smaller travel size as I am still trying them all out. But I have since ordered the larger jar as both myself and my partner are loving this treatment! But then I would suggest getting the travel size jar to make sure it's a treatment that you enjoy and works for you. I highly recommend this treatment! Until Next Time, Hey Guys! As you may know I have been on a major hunt for a new mascara - One to give me the lashes I should have been born with! So with that in mind I had to try L'Oréal's new Lash Paradise; the hype for this mascara was huge! With rumors that it was a dupe for what has been dubbed 'The worlds best mascara' Too Faced's Better Than Sex Mascara. Which probably has been my favourite so far on my mascara hunt. But with the Lash Paradise having a price tag of only £11.99 I was desperate to try it! I purchased this from Superdrug it is also available at Boots. L'oréal profess to "give intense volume, spectacular length and a feather soft feel" which sounds like heaven to me! But do I agree? Hell Yeah! This mascara delivers all it's promises! It volumised my lashes, lengthened them dramatically for me.. They looked fuller & thicker but my lashes also looked feathery, there was no clumping and you could see each lash separately. This is definitely a mascara that you only need one coat of for a naturally full & volumised look. However it is buildable too, the second coat added even more length and even slightly curled my lashes up. I personally wouldn't do more than 2 coats, because 1 it doesn't need it & 2 I feel like it could get slightly clumpy with more than 2 coats. I was really impressed with how well it separated my lashes giving a much fuller effect. This mascara has great staying powder and lasts all day without smudging or flaking onto the face. When it came to removing it after a long day, it removed easily with my Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm. (Click Here For Review) Now as I mentioned before this mascara is being considered a dupe for the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. Apart from the pink frosted tubing and the similarity between the brushes. The L'Oréal Lash Paradise wins hands down for me! Have I finally found a mascara I am happy with? Yess! This mascara will definitely become a permanent staple in my make up collection, but is a girl ever truly happy? My hunt will definitely slow down but I will always be looking for that perfect mascara! So my final thoughts. I would hands down recommend this mascara for anyone who is on the hunt for a new one! It get's a full 10/10 from me. I would even say it isn't just one of the best high-street mascara's out at the moment but possible one of the best mascara's in general to be currently on the market! So what you waiting for? Go & buy yours now! Until Next Time Hey Guys! I say this every month but my god this year is going so fast & I feel like it will be Christmas again tomorrow! I have a great mixture of products to review for todays favourites & fails! Next month I'm not too sure how many il have as I am having major surgery on the 9th of August. But let's go ahead and jump into this months favourites & fails. Favourites First on my favourites list is something I reviewed not too long ago. The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors & HA Surface Hydration Formula. This retails for usually around the price of £4.90, which is an amazing price for such a brilliant product! It is available from many online retailers including their own website, Beautybay & CultBeauty. This moisturiser is lightweight, it hydrates my skin amazingly it doesn't cause any breakouts or clog my pores up. My skin is super soft, it feels amazing, it looks clear and I am in absolute love with this product! I have since order more of their products & cannot wait to see how they preform! Check out my full review here. My next favourite is something I reviewed a while back but have been absolutely loving this past month. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Blush Trio. Available on their own website and retails for £27. It is the perfect summer blush trio, I have the shade Peachy Love which gives you such a gorgeous natural pop of colour. I especially love the shade Miami which is a brighter peach colour with golden sparkle. You can read my full review here. My 3rd Favourite for the month of July is the brand L'occitane and their shea butter hand cream at 20%. I purchased this from Marks & Spencers. Although you can buy it straight from their own website. Retails for around £8. I have had a few of their hands creams and this is my favourite. I have super soft hands and this helps to keep them super soft. The scent isn't over powering and it doesn't make your hands feel greasy or tacky. I got the 30ml travel size as it's going into my hospital bag for my operation this month. But there is different sizes for their hand creams. The next item on my list is by MUA and their lip scrub from Superdrug. It retails for £3 usually but I purchased it on sale at just £1.50! This has got to be one of my favourite lip products I have tried in a long while. It doesn't taste of anything & has vitamin E for extra moisture. It looks like a lipstick and you apply it like a lipstick back and forth a few times before washing off the remanding product off. My lips feel amazing after I use this., I use it every 2/3 days. They are soft & all dry skin is removed. All lipsticks apply nicer and look perfect. I highly recommend this product! Next on the list we have my perfume for the summer by Marc Jacobs - Daisy Dream. I purchased this from Debenhams, it usually retails for £55 for 50ml perfume. You can also purchase this from Boots, The Perfume Shop, John Lewis and many more. This is a gorgeous floral and fruity take on the original perfume which is perfect for the Summer. Next is Maybelline's Color Show Nail Varnishes. I have several different colours but my favourite is one of their newer shades 232 Rose Chic which is part of a limited edition collection. It is a gorgeous glittery shade that makes your toes sparkle. These are a bargain at just £3.99 on Superdrug, who often have deals on their products! Last on my favourites list is Morphe's Liquid lipsticks which I reviewed earlier in July. These lipsticks are available at Beautybay for £10.50. They are amazing quality for a really good price. They last all day, they don't crack or make your lips dry and the colour selection is amazing! Click here to read my full review! Fails First on this months Fails is a product I reviewed just this week which left me really disappointed! E.L.F's baked highlighter in the shade Moonlight Pearls. This product gave me no colour payoff, didn't give me anything even after scratching the top layer off which was suggested online. Click here for my full review on E.L.F's Baked Highlighter. Next on the list is another product that I reviewed not too long ago, which was a major flop! MUA's Paper Highlighting Sheets which retail for £3.. There isn't much I can say other than these don't work, AT ALL! They are very gimmicky and fun but they just don't do anything! Click here for my full review. So there you have it. July's Favourites & Fails. August is a pretty tough month for me with some major surgery at the beginning of the month. Therefore I'm not sure how many new products I will be trying. I know that I will be focusing on Skincare and some easy pampering to try and make myself feel better! So until next month, take care & let me know what made your favourites and maybe I will check them out. Hey Guys, Today's post is slightly different to normal. I thought I would do a lust list for make up , but not just a normal lust list I thought I would make it only make up from America that we can't get here in the UK. 1. Pur Royalty Eye Polish Kit - Available only online at Ulta for $42. This collection was done as a collaboration with Angel Merino Aka Mac Daddy. These are eye popping liquid eyeshadows including; Steel, Gold, Rose Gold, Copper And Plum. 2. Physicians Formula - Is not available in the UK anywhere & I have mainly wanted to try their Mineral Wear Pressed Bronzer which retails for around $13.99 and has people talking all over the internet for their amazing formula and gorgeous coconut scent! 3. Vera Mona's Cake and Cake Sponge - This is available at Sephora for $14 and has Beauty Youtuber's such as Manny Mua going crazy for this sponge! I love the unique design of 2 sharp edges which look perfect for concealing and baking the under eye. 4. Sephora Collection - Head to Toes! This is a collection of masks which really does do from head to toe. From eye, lip face and foot mask & some inbetween. This collection is only available at Sephora for just $22. 5. Sephora Collection - Sephora Pro Warm Palette - These are new item by Sephora which is a collection of 28 highly pigmented eyeshadows. It retails for $68. I love the look of all of the colours in this palette! I can't wait to try and get my hands on it. 6. Milk Make Up - There are loads of different items I would love to try from this company including; Holographic Highlighting Powder, Cooling Water, Holographic Lip Gloss, and many more! It looks like such a new and different concept to make up. 7. Colourpop - Okay I cannot get enough of this company and their products. I have ordered a few times from them but it costs quite a lot for customs and taxes. There is a few items I'd like to get my hands on such as; Gimme More!Highlighting Palette, Supershock Highlighters, No Filter Concealers and many more products! This is just some of the amazing make up available over in the US that is harder to get over here in the UK. Hopefully over the next few months I will get my hands on some of these items and be able to give you some reviews! Until Next Time, Hey Guys! Today's review is on a newer brand that is now available in the UK - Elf which is available at Superdrug. I wanted to give their Baked Highlighter in Moonlight Pearls 704 a go. It retails for £5 The packaging for this product is fairly simple, when taken out of the outer packaging the actual product feels quite cheap and the plastic is very flimsy. I tried the highlighter and really didn't get any colour pay off - so I read online that you need to take the first layer off, so I gently took the first layer off of the top in hopes that it would give me some better colour pay off. I have since tried it several times, hoping each time that I can get a beautiful glow and everytime I use it I am completely disappointed. There really is very little to no colour payoff. I am a highlight addict and it probably is one my favourite make up item. So this for me is a complete flop. I really wanted to love this product but it didn't even give me a natural glow. I would give this product a 2/10 only because it is a cheap product to purchase and if you where new to highlighting this could be a good highlighter to learn with and to get comfortable using highlighters. It is small and travel friendly but for me it isn't a product I will be keeping or repurchasing! I am so excited for today's review on GlamGLow's Glowsetter - Make Up Setting Spray. I purchased the smaller of the 2 sizes just so I could give it a go! It Was £12 for 28mls. The perfect size for travelling and trying out a new product! I love the packaging for this product. It is bright pink and has silver foil which grabs your attention. As always with Glamglow products they feel high quality and up market. This mist is not just a setting spray for your make up but also a midday refresher - it is like a cup of coffee for your face! It helps to refresh your make up and skin. It helps with dullness, puffiness and sleepy looking skin. As soon as it hits the skin it gives it a instant boast of radiance. It is packed with the brand's signature TEAOXI technology complex, which consists of a blend of green, red, and white tea to fight environmental stressors and works with other advance ingredients to leave your skin feeling hydrated and smooth. The Glowsetter's liquid is dispensed from a nozzle in a fine mist that gently lays on your skin and isn't to wet. On top of that it feels cooling and has a beautiful vanilla scent, which isn't to strong. For it to be extra cooling you can leave it in the fridge so that it feels even more refreshing when used. When using it hold the bottle 6-8 inches away from the face and spritz & it can be applied at any time or any place to refresh your glow! So over all this product is definitely work the hype and the money & I will be purchasing the larger bottle from Glamglow for £24 for 110mls. I love the soft vanilla scent and the gentleness of the mist when it hits your face. It definitely gives your make up a boast mid day and helps to keep it in place as well as hydrating and refreshing your skin and make up. This product gets a full 10/10 from me & I can not wait to see what else Glam Glow come out with! Check out Glam Glow's Sonic Blue Gravity Mud Review Here!Today's review is on the very popular brand The Ordinary and their moisturiser. The Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA Surface hydration Formula - ( That is one hell of a long name!) The Ordinary is fast becoming the latest brand to take the beauty world by storm. Cropping up on many beauty influencers YouTube channels & blogs! A lot of websites now have the products, with most being sold out and you having to join a waiting list. I purchased this from BeautyBay for £5 for 30mls. It is also available from Asos, Cult Beauty, Look Fantastic and many more. The first thing I noticed with this product was the packaging, although simple it has a velvety matte finish to the box. It feels very high end looks very high end. The bottle itself is silver matte and also feels nice. It looks very clinical and clean to me which I love especially with skincare.
The Ordinary is actually a brand from DECIEM which has been labelled "The hottest beauty company right now." All of their products are completely free from lots of nasties such as; parabens, sulphates, mineral oil, animal oils, mercury and many more things we need to avoid for our skin. I have been using this product for a few weeks now and I have to say that I am overwhelmed at how well it performs. I use this at the end of my skincare routine both in the morning and evening. My skin is fairly normal yet sensitive and I rarely suffer with oil or breakouts. However this product seems to have made my skin even softer to touch, it hydrates it without clogging my pores up. It feels lightweight when applied and refreshing. It feels ever so slightly tacky for a few minutes after application but soon dries down. Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF) are elements that keep the outer layer of the skin protected and well-hydrated. NMF are made up of multiple amino acids, fatty acids, triglycerides, urea, ceramides, phospholipids, glycerin, saccharides, sodium PCA, hyaluronic acid and many other compounds that are naturally present in the skin. This formula offers non-greasy hydration that acts as a direct topical supplement of impaired NMF components. It contains 11 amino acids, phospholipids, alpha/beta/gamma fatty acids, triglycerides, sterols and sterol esters, glycerin, ceramide precursors, urea, saccharides, sodium PCA and hyaluronic acid. Therefore if your skin lacks any of these NMF components this moisturiser will help to replenish and work with them. I highly recommend this product. It will work wonders on any skin type but especially if you suffer from dry skin. This moisturiser will have you seeing great results instantly, It hydrates and moisturises immediately and improves skin tone and texture with continued use. It not only works as a great moisturiser but also as a great make up primer due to the Glycerin which is present. With it retailing for around £5 on most sites you really cant go wrong! This product gets a full 10/10 for me and I will definitely be keeping it as part of my skincare routine! Hey Guys! Today's review is on Jeffree Star's Lip Ammunition. I purchased my Chrome collection lip ammunition from BeautyBay for £16. This is part of Jeffree Star's Limited Edition Summer Collection. I picked the shade Thick As Thieves. The packaging is all pink chrome from the outside box to the actual lipstick and looks beautiful! As the name states it is shaped like a bullet/ammunition which is unique. I think the pink chrome makes it looks better than the original plain pink packaging. Jeffree Star's Logo is on the front of the bullet and centre to the packaging. The shade Thick as Thieves is a warm mahogany colour and a darker nude. It is a satin finish lipstick. It glides on with ease and has an amazing colour payoff, amazing colour payoff. I have only worn this shade a few times and it lasts really well. As with all lipsticks it does transfer when eating and drinking but it lasts a lot better than most. I did notice that towards the end of the day it did make my lips quite dry and even slightly uncomfortable/tight on the lips. Over all, I do like this colour and the satin finish but I think I will be sticking to his liquid lipsticks as I prefer that formula. I give it a 6/10. The lipstick is quite drying and I have had to put lip topper on a few times to make it feel more comfortable. I'm very stuck in the middle on this product. If your a fan of satin lipsticks and nudes then I would recommend this colour. Until Next Time., Kayleigh Lisa ♛ Hey Guys!
Today's review is on St Tropez's Tan Enhancing Body Polish, I can't believe I haven't used this before now! I purchased the body polish from St Tropez's website. It retails for £10. This product makes my tan smooth, even and streak free. It helps to perfect the tan and keeps it appearing flawless. This tan enhancing body polish preps your skin for tanning by gently exfoliating. The formula is very soft with small beads ( it also smells tropical ), that don't scratch the skin, but instead will help to prep the skin and also maintain your tan by evenly removing dead skin. This helps to keep the surface fresh and smooth. You can still build your tan up and use your favourite self tanning products. You simply use the Tan Enhancing Body Polish 24 hours before your tan application. For the best application make sure you use it in circular motions to make sure it is even and gentle, rather than scrubbing over the same place. It is also a good idea to focus on area's that are slightly drier and can often by uneven. Such as hands, feet, knees and elbows and any other problem area's. I would give this product a 9/10. My tan has defiantly been prolonged. It is far more even and looks constantly fresh. My skin also feels smooth and soft. It smells amazing and very summery. I love that it doesn't scratch my skin. It does exactly as it says on the bottle. It is rather pricey which is why I dropped it down to a 9 however you do get 200ml of product and a little does go a long way. I simply use this product twice a week and make sure it is 24 hours before using my in Shower Gradual Tanner. Click here for my full review on The In Shower Tanner. Until Next Time. Kayleigh Lisa ♛ Hey Guys! Today's review is on Morphe's Liquid Lipsticks which came out earlier this year in the USA however earlier this month BeautBay released that they had Morphe's full collection for sale on their site. I purchased these from BeautyBay, they retail for £10.50 which I feel is a brilliant price for the quality you are getting. I purchased 2 shades; Vanity a lavender nude & Peanut a Caramel colour. Both very gorgeous shades. These liquid lipsticks are more of a mouse like consistency, they aren't runny or watery at all. The pigmentation is amazing and they dry right down meaning they do not transfer. Their tag line after all is "for a bullet proof kiss". They are extremely comfortable to wear, they don't feel tight or drying but soft and almost like you have nothing on your lips. They applied evenly and with no patches and are very long lasting. I wore the shade Vanity for a evening out, I applied it at 3pm and it lasted until 9pm. I did eat food in this time and this did make it fade slightly in the centre. But it lasted better than any other liquid lipstick I have had on while eating. . They don't ware off easily or crumble like some liquid lipsticks do. They felt comfortable through the whole day and I barely noticed that I had a lipstick on. For all of these reasons I give this liquid lipstick a full 10/10. They really haven't sacrificed any quality for price, with these amazing liquid lipsticks! Until Next Time, Kayleigh Lisa ♛ Hey Guys.
Today we are reviewing Glam Glow's GravityMud Firming Treatment in Sonic Blue. This is Glamglow's normal gravity mud mask but in the very popular Sonic blue instead of the traditional purple. I purchased this treatment in the travel size , 15g tube. It was £14. The tube comes in 3 different characters, Sonic, Sonic & Knuckles or Sonic & Tails. I bought the tube mainly for nostalgic reasons. It reminds me of my childhood and when video gaming was getting popular. This mask is a peeling treatment. This treatment is a instant tightening and firming mud that contains ingredients that work together to help the skin feel more defined. Once the mask dries you can peel it off to reveal skin that instantly feels tighter and looks more lifted. Now I know a lot of you will think that £14 for 15g is rather expensive. But a little really does go a long way. Even with applying generous layers you aren't using a lot of the product. I have done 4 treatments already and there is at least another 4 in their. That works out at £1.75 per mask. Which really isn't too bad, especially when the mask works! Always apply masks to a clean face. Apply a generous layer of the product avoiding your eyebrows and keeping away from your hairline. Leave the mask on for 20-30 minutes. I do tend to leave it for the full 30 minutes and it is surprisingly a comfortable mask to leave on, it doesn't pull or feel tight. When it is completely dry peel off and rinse any excess off with warm water. The peeling can be slightly tricky and time consuming but as long as you have most off then rinsing the rest off is fine. I have to say that I am absolutely in love with this mask. The scent is beautiful but not to overpowering. Not only does it turn your face in to a metallic smurf but it really does exactly as it says on the tube! When I peeled the mask off, my skin really did look tighter, healthier and more radiant. My skin felt so smooth after using this just once. My pores where undetectable. Even my make up applied like a dream the next day. After a few uses I can definitely tell my skin is loving the mask, it continues to look brighter and healthier, my pores and the minimal amount of texture I had has completely gone. My skin tone seems to have evened out. Even where I have had a slight heat rash due to our Summer weather it has helped to reduce that, which I was chuffed with especially having sensitive skin. The packaging is amazing, The blue is a gorgeous electric blue to match Sonic. It's very eye catching. I love the change in colour for the mask then the normal GravityMud treatment which is one of the reasons I wanted to purchase this tube, It is a great little collective item. Sega & Glamglow have done a great job! I give this mask a full 10/10. From the amazing packaging to the way it makes my skin feel and look. It will be part of my permanent skincare regime from now on twice a week. It is a hefty payout but when you take in to account the amount of treatments you get, it makes it worth while in the long run. 15g is the perfect size to try the product out and also to travel with. I am definitely going to purchase a few of the other treatments by Glamglow to try out! Until Next Time Kayleigh Lisa ♛ Hey Guys! Today I'm reviewing something very different! MUA's Luxe Shimmer Sheet in White Gold. Yes that's right actual sheets! I had to get these when I saw them. They were just £3 from Superdrug. I got the white gold version but they also do a rose gold version as well. This is the product. It looks like a little book. It comes in a plastic packet when you purchase it. But that is it in the way of packaging. I love the design on the front of the book. It reminds my of The Great Gatsby. It is very simple but I personally like that. This is the inside of the book. There is 40 sheets of highlighter in each book. I love how the sheets looks. Very natural and slightly pearlescent. They look very pretty under the flash of the camera! So there isn't really any instruction but it does say to just dust across the face for an instant lift. It also states that it is lightweight and a light luminosity. This to me implies that it is going to be natural and very light. Which I expected anyway with it being just paper! This is the end result of dusting the paper over my hand. I have to say I personally do not like this. It looks so white that it doesn't have any luminosity it just looks like a white powder with some glitter mixed in. I wasn't expecting it to be a blinding highlighter but I also didn't expect it to be such a white powder. It has a really bad flashback when you take a photo. I tried it over my make up at the end of a day and it really did just look like a thick white powder. It looked very odd with my olive/medium tone skin. So overall I do not recommend this product. I really just wanted to try it, as it was something different to review.. I expected a gentle little glow that you can top up your highlighter with during the day,. Which would have been amazing. It is very compact, small and I do like the packaging. I really don't think there is any skin tone that would suit this, it just looks like white powder.. It's a lot thicker than I thought it would be and feels chalky and as soon as you touch the product it disappears. It really doesn't stay, as soon as it comes into contact with anything it just disappears. It gets a full 0/10 and is not a product I would recommend! Thank you for checking out this unique and different product with me. Until next time, Kayleigh Lisa 👑 Hey Guys, I cannot believe that we are over half way through the year already. It seems like it was Christmas just yesterday! This year is going so fast! So this month I definitely have quite a few favourites for you! So lets jump straight in! Favourites First on my list of favourites is St Tropez = In Shower Gradual Tanner, Available from Superdrug, Boots, BeautyBay & more. Retailing for around £14. I use the medium shade as it compliments my naturally olive skin. This product is a favourite because it is so easy to use, gives amazing results and most of all doesn't smell like most self tanners, it has a sweeter smell. This has become a permanent fixture in my shower routine now, (Check out my full review here in a previous post.) Second on my favourites is Morphe's 25B Bronzed Mocha Eyeshadow Palette. This is available from BeautyBay for £19. Whenever I have done my make up this month, I have gone straight for this palette, I love that you can see what colours there are in this palette through its see-through lid. The pigmentation in these eyeshadows are some of the best I have ever used and I absolutely love how easily they blend out. ( Check out my full review on Morphe's 25B Palette here. ) My next June favourite is Macadamia Oil Extract Foot Pack. I purchased this from The Range for just £1, they are available both in store and online! I absolutely love doing foot masks and especially in the summer when you need your feet to be sandal ready! My feet felt amazing after using this treatment. So soft & who doesn't love a bargain at £1!! My next June favourite is probably my ultimate favourite of the month. My amazing other half bought me Dior's - Poison Girl. This retails for around £47 for 30ml's or £65-70 for 50ml's. You can purchase this from many places, such as Dior, Boots, Debenhams and John Lewis. This perfume is a bitter, sweet floral scent. It is very long lasting & is more of a stronger perfume rather than a lighter. Perfect scent for the Summer. My next favourite is a product I reviewed towards the beginning of the month. Nip & Fab's Bee Sting Lifting Mask. £9.95 from Superdrug. This mask gives you a cooling/refreshing feel when applied, until it starts to tingle, which I love! The mask firms, hydrates and plumps the skin. It makes my skin feel smoother, softer and helps my make up to sit evenly on the skin. Check out my full review here. Fails I only have one fail this month. Nip & Fab's Eyeshadow Palette, I purchased this from Superdrug for £12.95.. I have tried to use it a few times on myself and others and there just is no pigment to these eyeshadows. There is a lot of fall out, no colour pay off and just doesn't give you anything to work with. When I purchased this I thought it would be the perfect palette for travelling with the colour selection but there just really is no pigmentation! So it's a massive avoid from me. So that concludes my favourites and fails for the month of June. I cant wait to see what makes next month's favourites and fails! I absolutely love trying new products, it's one of my favourite things to do. If there are any product's you want me to try leave me a comment down below, also let me know what's been your favourite products this past month or what products haven't worked for you? Until Next Time Kayleigh Lisa 💕 |
