Hey Guys, Today's post is a bit of a different one. As most of you know I went for surgery this week, but unfornately it didn't go well & I ended up quite poorly.. But I thought I would do a new series on my blog, a kind of "What's In" with the first being What's In My Over Night Hospital Bag! So even though I have been quite poorly I still wanted some of my favourite products with me and to try and keep up with some of my skincare so that my skin didn't suffer at all. First up in my overnight bag we have some dry shampoo! I purchased this full size Batiste from Asda for £2.90. Although I always French braid my hair, the last thing you want is any oily roots! I love the smell of the tropical scent and Batiste soaks up all the oil without leaving a white cast all over the hair! Check back soon for a post comparing some high end dry shampoo goes head to head with some more budget friendly options. Second up we have my favourite Micellar water. I love using this after I have washed my face as an extra step, it is amazing at going that extra bit and really cleansing your face and neck. I find it very soothing and a nice little extra. Using it in hospital is a great way to keep your face clean and cool! Plus how cute is this small bottle from B&M just £1 for 125ml of product! Third up we have my favourite sleep mask at the moment by Oh K for just £4 from Beautybay for 20ml of product. It says 5-6 uses but I can definitely get around 10 uses out of this, applying generous layer 2-3 times a week. This always leaves my skin feeling hydrated, moisturised, smooth and my make up always applies beautifully the day after use. I bought this with me because it is so easy to use and the benefits are amazing! I have definitely noticed an improvement in my skin since using sleep masks! Next up we have my favourite body lotion of all time by one of my favourite brands of all time Anatomicals! This lotion is full sized at 250ml but it's well worth the space it takes up. This body lotion is absolutely beautiful, it smells divine and it leaves my skin so smooth for up to 24 hours. Check out my review on this product as part of post on Anatomicals. Next we have my favourite hand cream by the brand L'occitane this is the Shea Butter at 20%. I purchased this one in store at Marks & Spencers for £8, you get 30mls of product, perfect for an overnight bag or travelling with. These hand creams go along way, you don't need to use a lot to benefit from them. Anybody who knows me knowns,my hands are extremely soft! This hand cream just keeps them that way, it keeps them protected and well nourished. The scent isn't over powering but is faint and very pleasant. Now we have a company that has taken the internet by storm and made it into my July favourites. The Ordinary & their Natural Moisturizing Factors+HA. I purchased this from TheOrdinary.com for £4.90 for 30ml which is a perfect size for putting into your washbag. You can also purchase The Ordinary from Beautybay, Cult Beauty & Asos among other places. I have been using this for a while and I absolutely love it! It has become a vital part of my skincare routine & I am looking forward to trying some more of their range! Check out my full review here! Last up we have some travel size shampoo, I don't see the point in travel size shampoo or conditioner usually as my hair is so long that it will only do a wash at the most. But this was on sale and I thought it was better to be prepared and have something there to wash my hair with rather than nothing. You can purchase Aussie products at most highstreet shops and supermarkets such as Boots, Superdrug, Asda & many more! I hope you enjoyed this slightly different post, if you did make sure you give me a share & subscribe to my blog! I will be carrying this series of blog posts on in the future with categories such "What's in my holiday make up bag" & "What's in my Handbag" featuring many different products! I thought this would be a good post to pop up while I'm in hospital, as it's current with what is going on in my life at the moment! But Until Next Time,
